If they are doing their job they should. But they ain't so they don't.

(2) Apparently a separate "Media Relations" group exists representing SLI. Expressed my displeasure w/ seemingly nonexistant effort relative to peers. He countered w/ they came on shortly after the first SS report and it was insinuated this derailed focus. Majority of time spent fielding calls from retail investors. Insitutional calls ended much sooner, presumably getting answers they needed and disregarding the noise.
This part reads oddly to me. Were they telling retail investors and institutional investors the same thing and retail was just too dumb/inexperienced to understand it?

No….the # of retail investors is exponentially higher than institutional, meaning higher volume of calls

If they have all these plants planned, then I have to believe the tech works as indicated. They may not be first to market, but they can crush the competition with volume, high quality product, and access to high quality feedstock.

Looking good pre-market

Good thing y’all listened when I told y’all to hold

Two can play at that game.... Y'all better sell before it crashes at lunch.

That's been a thought of mine for quite awhile. It's almost like SLI's daring the competition to spend their money developing a defunct before it opens mining operation

Trying to post article but having a brain fart. Sorry

While peers like BP (BP) and Marathon (MPC) have invested in the production of low-carbon fuels like wind, solar and bio-diesel, Koch has focused on electricity storage. Factset and the Wall Street Journal indicate that the Strategic Platforms business has invested more than $750m in batteries, while Koch says they've invested ~$1b in energy transition technologies over the past 18 months. The largest investment, according to Factset data, is a $225m investment in Freyr Battery SA (NYSE:FREY). The company focuses on developing utility-scale lithium batteries, with lower CO2 emissions when compared to East Asian manufacturers. Freyr (FREY) is also attempting to develop a full Nordic supply chain for electric vehicle batteries. Other Koch Strategic Platforms investments include Standard Lithium (NYSE:SLI), a domestic lithium miner, Li-cycle Holdings (NYSE:LICY), a lithium battery recycling business, and Eos Energy (NASDAQ:EOSE) a utility-scale, zinc battery supplier. Koch also invested in Solid Power (NASDAQ:SLDP), a Ford-backed solid-state battery producer.

How do you know we did not sell?

Would like to know what their plan is as a PR group. How are they going to combat the misinformation in the two attacks and how will they react if another were to occur?
Why have they/SLI failed to emphasize the truly "green" nature of their extraction methods? This is what truly sets them apart from the other lithium companies, infrastructure all in place, will tap into an already existing resource and actually it will be cleaner when they reinject it.
The biggest argument you see against EV's from a climate standpoint is the way lithium is mined. SLI eliminates that problem and argument.
Amen to that. PR should be seeking out every "green" media outlet and forum to tell the truly green facts of SLI's process. I bet there are several publishing stock analysts who would love to see it.
Have them down for tours and a walk through. Make brief green video tours painting it spring green. Contrast it to the lithium strip mines and evaporation ponds.
If the PR group is not doing this kind of stuff, filmmaker in chief needs to find another PR firm. If they ever need to sell more stock, the price needs to be up as high as possible.

They will definitely be able to eat the lunch of lithium strip mining operations and evaporation ponds to, but the cat is out of the bag on SLI's process too. Competitors will take note knowing that it works and some may get the cream first if SLI doesn't step on it.

They should since our defacto focus group is a great resource for interested response to what's happening with SLI and also holders of over 1m shares.

That is my question. So summer of '24? I'm curious of everyone's thoughts on price target then.

Top of the head, but I see no reason $20 isn’t the floor once they are selling carbonate.
Even just the revenue from Phase 1 could support a real $2B market cap. That’s like $13. Then you factor in very expected growth and $20 is right there. Anything unexpected in the next two years and that may be even higher.
