Yahoo says that we're now up to 96 institutions holding.

The U.S. Department of Defense plans to increase the stockpile of rare earth minerals, cobalt and lithium it manages, in an effort to reduce the country's long-term dependence on China, Reuters reports. The new stockpile guidance reportedly could be announced as soon as next week, nearly a year after President Biden issued an executive order to study U.S. supply chain resiliency. Lithium, used to make electric vehicle batteries, will be vital to the Pentagon's goal of shifting its fleet of 170K non-tactical vehicles to zero emissions, according to the report. The U.S. currently has only one rare earths mine - the Mountain Pass mine in California - and no capability to process rare earth minerals. Potentially relevant tickers include MP, TROX, ALB, LAC, SLI, LTHM Seeking Alpha contributor Michael A. Gayed is bullish on the VanEck Vectors Rare Earth/Strategic Metals ETF (NYSEARCA:REMX), calling it a "solid long-term growth story."

Now if we got a final JV and someone took our SLI out of low gear, we might catch the tail winds.
No SLI shares lent out this last few days...

Incrementally buying shares since last November has me closer to house money. If SLI were incentivized to simply start production which should add to our bankin' accounts.

Short sale volume went down 15% on Friday, biggest one day drop I've seen in a while.

FWIW, mine are all still lent out.
Germans have us down 4% right now.
Looking like a good day to either buy or be productive with my real job. I hate that.

We'll see how well it weathers the big futures drop tomorrow.

There’s something comforting about the predictability of red every day

I was just hoping we could hold $6 today with all the chaos yesterday. Unless we fall off a lunchtime cliff, which we have seen before, we can hold serve.

Yeh after watching Germany drop 10+% yesterday this doesn’t feel so bad ha.

It must suck to have sold at 12 and never know when to buy back in because it only goes down
Posted on 2/22/22 at 1:02 pm to el Gaucho
We were holding strong until the market decided to start deficating all over itself.

I heard Biden wanted to pump all this EV stuff just to pump up lithium producers stock prices then he shorted it when he decided to let Putin invade Ukraine.
