re: Diving deeper on Standard Lithium?

Slightly faster? This has cratered since mid-December. It’s gone down substantially more than other lithium plays and there is an even bigger gap between how far this has gone down and the overall market. So if you were doing double the speed limit you’d tell the officer you were “slightly” over the speed limit when he asks if you know why he pulled you over?

Have you sold any yet or are you holding still?
I did sell a bit two weeks ago after the Mintak interview.
Not really a change in sentiment, just finally starting to hedge my leverage. My brokerage was so overleveraged in SLi after that big runup it was ridiculous.
I only sold ~10%. This one may get back down to $4 worst case but I really don't see much lower, it's hard to value this company even pre-revenue at anything less than that. They've got freaking $100 million cash on hand. Put a low-tier mining multiple on that and it's worth $4/share, without considering their actual business model. I have the itch to sell so bad, I'm not gonna lie, this market is scary and who knows what a major correction will bring. But this is a long term hold and an EASY $1 billion target valuation. Gonna just painfully ride this downturn and not try to time it.
If you're feeling froggy, and if I were playing paper money, I think the best play is to sell now and buy back in mid Q2. But I'm not gonna gamble that much with it. Just gonna do my best not to watch it too closely and avoid playing the 'what if' game.

Haha, you sure about that, or are you just blinded because you are in SLI? Let's play that game.
Over the past 3 months, here's the highs of comps vs their lows today.
Albemarle: $291/$200 - down 31% (a friggin $40B company)
Tesla: $1243/$868 - down 30% (a friggin trillion dollar company)
Lithium America: $41.56/$32.56 - down 43%
Livent: $33.04/$20.32 - down 38%
Piedmont: $88.97/$42.46 - down 52%
SLI: $12.92/$5.80 - down 55%
So yes, going down slightly faster. 3-10% more down than its small caps peers is not more than 'slightly faster'. Nowhere near your alleged 'double' number. Stop being so emotional.

Glad I never bought a share over $8.
Feel sorry for the people who bought in late here.
But the fundamentals are all still there if you have the funds and the stomach to ride it out

Sold half my shares at 9.90 on the way up thinking it would hit a wall at $10. It blew past $10 and went to $12 and I felt like an idiot at the time. Today I’m starting to feel like I actually know what I’m doing lol. Still holding half and plan on holding them for the long haul

Feel like I lose about 40k a day on this and just kinda tired of it I guess
Idk if y’all know that feel or not
I guess I could hold and not check my account for a few months

Also sold about half of my shares on the way back down from $12. I didn’t hit the high but secured my original investment plus a good bit.
Still holding 50% of shares and don’t plan to sell. Will likely buy a significant amount (for my portfolio) if it hits the 4’s again.

Don’t come at me with that emotional crap. I handle swings with pretty good ease. SLI is nothing compared to what I have lost in crypto, and I am nowhere close to selling any of it.
You said the market, which is down about 12%.

SLI down drastically more than the market. And since when is 55% only slightly more than 30 (46% more), 31 (45% more) 35 (35% more) and 38 (31% more)? It’s not. Not even close. You can minimize if you want, but your little numbers game does not add up. Don’t be so condescending when your facts don’t support you..

This is my game plan (minus the paper money part). Rode ~150K shares from $3 to average selling price of ~$10.50 over the past year. Will probably scoop up 150K shares again in the $3-4 range at the height of this market crash, only to watch this go up to $10 and beyond again when they finally get to moving on the JV....

And I’m the one playing “little numbers games”. Haha.

When you didn't take some profits, you played this as a long term investment. Selling after getting beat down on a long term investment is not a winning formula, generally speaking
If SLI no longer appeals to you as a long term investment, then a different approach is necessary.

I sold about 10% in the last few weeks.
Still in and long bigly.

I’m up on the shares I’ve bought/sold. Still holding large portion of my shares waiting to turn long and those are at a dca of $3.75. I’ll start buying again at 4.50. Hoping if we get to 5 it gets major support but we haven’t had many roadblocks on the way down though.
