No. It varies but the usually pay about $50-$75 each visit. They always have some kind of rotating promotion where you get a bonus if you donate certain amount of times in a month.

No, he said $500/month and he donates twice per week. I’d recommend doing some research on donating plasma before you decide to do it.

Got it. I’m on TRT so I can only donate whole blood anyway.

Yeah I mean you take 2x per week, 1 hour per visit. That's 8-10 hours per month for $500. Cost to drive there, pain of giving plasma, etc. It's not a millionaire maker...

I knew we were having a bad day, but I open the thread to see we're at the point of selling plasma. Oof.

If I give plasma while I day trade I can mitigate my losses with the additional funds from the plasma. It's a genius strategy.

I hope Mintak doesn't do another presentation like the last one.

Maybe Koch will take notice and goose this thing.

Idk I think I put too much into this one and didn’t take profits when I should have but who knows

Mintak is like the Old Testament god where he floods us one week and blows up our city the next. Do they have a company with a loving New Testament ceo that I can invest in

I average about $515 a month. The place is only 10 min from where I work, so the extra time and fuel is negligible.

It would amount to about $6,000 a year, if you're consistently donating. Who doesn't need $6k?

There's virtually no pain. No more than someone pricking your finger to take a blood sample.

I have a feeling 90% of people that are scared to do it would be kicking themselves after seeing how easy it is, especially after letting that money build up in your account for a few months.

FWIW, I make about $55k a year, so it's been a difference-maker for me in regards to investing in the market.

You could literally fund your entire Roth as the year goes along if you decided to.

It might not be for everyone, but it's definitely a nice side-hustle for me. Wish I could find just one more money-maker. Thought about DoorDash, but don't have the right vehicle for it.

If I'd known about SLI 18 months ago, I'd have already been a whale. Or at least one of those fat tunas. Lol.

For reference

You would have to give 60 blow jobs at $100 per BJ to make what he is making.

That’s good money right there

so it’s selling plasma or male prostitute, just to buy SLI.

I may just stick with BRKB for a bit me

I think I can make this plasma thing my new side hustle…maybe even a full-time gig. That will soon be 75 shares of SLI per donation and more if I can convince the wife to donate too. I have kids as well. I think those down-to-earth people in Hollywood would pay big bucks for the plasma of a 7 y.o. We might could even afford that boat I saw at tractor supply.

Not donating blood. Only plasma which is separated from your blood. Two times a week is the max. Easy peasy.

My best friend and his family donate as well. His daughters are in college, so with a total of 4 people doing this, I know it's helped them a lot.

Anyway, I'm curious as to when we might see an actual press release from Koch about SLI goings-on in an effort to pump the price back up.

Gotta get some sort of catalyst soon, right?
