I only recently opened a TDA account and have been purchasing SLI shares. I learned that my type of account is not eligible to lend shares. Perhaps it is below minimum value.

I think it has to be an investment account, not a retirement account (401k, Roth, ira).

Thanks, I missed that. So much information to process. I expect to have an old IRA (pre- 401K) account transferred to TDA in January. The advisor told me that it was necessary to open a separate account in addition to the one I recently opened. Should be good to go.

My $7.50 puts I sold expired on Friday. I’ll likely sell some more today dated a month out. Koch has given us a hard floor that should make these free money. If I’m wrong, I’ll get some cheap shares

Upon my understanding it cannot be a 401K but a traditional IRA is eligible to be rolled over to TDA.
