Paper family! Nah just kidding, congrats on the profit! I'm still holding on strong!

Someone is going to fail to understand the sarcasm in that statement...

I hope people that just start reading this thread know there is a lot of sarcasm. Those that have been in here a while know, but not so sure a newbie would.

Diamond hands like a mofo here. While slowly diversifying my portfolio, I'm going to live and die with SLI.

Another pre-market boost today. S5L closed higher yesterday and now trading about 4% higher than SLI. Hopefully we’ll close the gap on them and not vice-versa.

I'm still holding almost my entire stack. Sold some of my daughters in her custodial account, she made her money (unknowingly) and it's time to have it stable for a while.
I had a weak moment last week, nearly dumped everything at market open when it was $10.05. Canceled my market order at 8:24 am when I came to my senses.
We know there are head winds and catalyst in the future, but we also know is has a chance to really run the next 36 months, just need to remind ourselves to zoom out.

I still feel like the sentiment on this board is we’ll be in the high teens to low 20s in the next six months. Maybe I am wrong. People are a little quick to get down on this stock given its history. It usually gets a little ahead of itself, pulls back and then pushes through to new ATHs. At least they released something. I just wanted some transparency and to act like a real company. They have technology and this is the most significant evolution since the event of the combustion engine. I am more than happy with current returns and future expectations to continue holding. I added a pretty significant amount after provided some information last week. I expect us to push to $12.50 and through that number by Thanksgiving if there is no offering.

US Pre Market is +3.4% as of 7:14 CST
The only price that matters (to me) is 18 months from now. IMO it's a relative certainty that it'll be 20+ by then and potentially much higher with a major annoucement and FOMO explosion

I keep mentioning the need for a short term trades version of this thread, there's going to be (if not already) folks that make the wrong decision for themselves by factoring in logic from someone with a different game plan.

It's something I thought about as well.
Example - I have a meet and greet at the end of this month with a financial advisor with too many acronyms at the end of his name. I can't wait to see his facial reaction when I tell him how much we have in a speculative lithium play that just posted ZERO revenue in it's SEC filings.
Everyone has different views on the same subject. Mr. Acronym, while sound in his advice and likely smarter than me, would never have advised me to take these risks, but here we are... looking at secluded island property...
My views are long term and my decisions are long term, with significant risk tolerance and calculation of those risks. There are some here that want out in <6 months to move to the next hit... People have to recognize the situation... I know I have missed that recognition a few times.

Pendulum seems to be the voice that tempers the rational/irrational exhuberance here. I figure we’ll be at 30 when i read smackover and then Pendulum comes in and I feel like we’ll have some pain

copy/pasted from Yahoo Finance conversations
Decent recap....directionally correct IMO
Investment synopsis for anyone new:
-Proprietary technology extracts battery grade lithium from brine (salt water)
-This occurs exponentially FASTER, CHEAPER and GREENER than mining or evaporation ponds
-B/c this tech bolts on to existing brine pumps it avoids the huge time and costs required for EPA approvals, permitting etc.
-Facility is located within a few hours of TESLA, FORD/VW 's battery facilities.
-This is a HUGE deal b/c one or both of these facilities will have CATHODE capability. Why does that matter? B/c it means lithium no longer has to be sent overseas to be made into a battery.
-Why does that matter? B/c we've seen a major push for domestic supply chains.... gobal logistics are a nightmare and very costly.
The pilot plant has been running 24/7 365 for months and has exceeded expectations - the tech is working as planned.
The PEA....if you actually read it (and you should) you would note several things. 1) the price assumptions are super super conservative and only going to increase. 2) the extraction costs are WAY over stated and noted as such. This means the upside is much higher than what is stated... which is BILLIONS btw.
This is a TECH company. That means revenue potential is global (via licensing) and quick turnaround vs, for example, building out an oil rig or refinery. This tech is able to extract lithium from salt water and the output is perfectly safe to pump right back into the earth.
With this administration, the infrastructure bill, TESLA and RIVIAN making huge strides and the explosive demand for Lithium this is a no brainer. Consider all the equipment utilizing lithium.... cars, tools, medicines, batteries, electronics etc.
So what are the catalysts? Joint Venture announcement. Production. Additional sites all over the globe. Licesning deals. Partnerships to sell Lithium. An Elon Musk tweet sends this to triple digits over night.
In 24 months this company will be $50 and potentially much higher. Don't believe it? Sit on the sidelines and tell your buddies about the "one that got away" just like you did with Apple, Amazon, Bitcoin, Tesla etc. Those companies changed the GAME. This company is on the cusp of doing the same. Oh yea, and the market cap it under $2B?! The super conservative NPV from ONE freakin project is higher than that!
Buy the dips and stay long. Or don't, I really don't care. Smart $ will make $.
