Have I seen them? No. But apparently all the German big shots are in along with SLI's. Touring all facilities and things are being prepped, cleaned and painted etc. like they're gonna have some big event or something. Can't guarantee that means the JV is getting announced, but it sure sounds like it.

I'll troll. I am a sailor on the USS Razorback, but not about money. 
I can't say for sure what's going on, but a lot of their employees think it's a done deal. Could be totally unrelated, but I think we get something substantial this week.

FWIW I signed up for lending shares on E*TRADE. It was as easy as clicking “enroll” and “I agree”. Approved in an hour. It almost seemed to easy. I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do next?

I’ve only got 4400 shares so I’m not sitting on some fat pile of SLI. Maybe E*TRADE allows it for us small timers

Regarding Lending Shares:
My TDA account was simply a half dozen clicks or so. Made 479.00 in October.
Fidelity sent me an email with a 12 page form to complete. Will do that tomorrow.
If unsure, just go to the Search feature on your account and type in Lending Shares, and see what comes up. Eazy peazy. Or just do the virtual chat thing.

It looks like you only need a qualifying cash account that has a minimum of $25k with E*Trade.
Does anyone know if a Roth is a qualifier? I tried their online chat, but it's down at the moment. Might try to call tomorrow if no one knows.
I don't have $25k in my Roth yet. However, I could start bumping up my regular account with them once I've maximized my Roth for the year.

I agree I would rather hear about a JV and watch this thing take off them worry about lending my shares. But, if I can make a few dollars waiting on news I would not be mad

This thread and the other are by far the most informative discussions I've seen online. The vast majority of good information on stockwits, yahoo, FB, come from this board. I've been trying to find another just for the sake of more viewpoints. I don't post on any others, but I did notice stockwits is up to over 2100 watchers.
Probably half are from here.
It is amazing how low key SLI has stayed. The longer it goes, the more I'm convinced the big boys are keeping it under the radar until they get theirs.
