Are You saying you’d sell all your shares and re-buy them? Why would you do that? Tax reasons, I’m guessing, but it seems like the tax hit will be tremendous regardless of when the event occurred. What’s the bemefit that I’m missing?

No, I mean I would sell all my other non SLI stocks and buy more SLI if we got that big a pullback.

Did he mention anything about hats or attending our MT baller/SLI party on Smackover's new 250' yacht in Monaco during Grand Prix weekend next year?

He was talking so much about lithium that I didn't have time to ask about the hats and if the tip of the hat was a secret message to the MoneyTalk board on the Mad Money segment.

Ah, ok. Nike has a pretty large position in my portfolio and I’ve been thinking of selling the majority and buying more SLI. I’ve always figured the sneakers would always be a hot product and that Nike was a safe investment. So, I’m losing money every day I don’t do this but I’m still hesitant to do it.

I’d move my entire retirement account into SLi if that happened

Look, I'm not trying to rain on the parade happening here, but is anyone else not concerned that the CEO of this company has enough spare time to take calls from seemingly random people (sorry GeneralLee) and also answer emails from others in this thread?
I work for a Big 4 Consulting firm and most of the CEO's I work with don't even have time in the day to use the restroom. Their schedules are locked down to the second. And this is a range of CEO's from public Fortune 500 all the way to private $500M in annual revenue.
I'm happy it's occurring, of course, but to me it is somewhat concerning.

Doesn’t take a lot of time to run an apparel company that gives out free merchandise.

Yeah it sounds like that's all coming to an end though as he doesn't have time to keep up with it anymore and they are expanding their investor relations team. I think the COVID lockdowns gave him more time than he would have had otherwise to communicate with investors. I had the same thought as well "is this all too good to be true?", but those will hopefully all be put to bed forever soon assuming JV execution occurs.

That dip to $9.30 this morning lasted for like 2 minutes...
I have a sizable buy order set for 8.99.

It isn't that uncommon for a still growing company CEO to take the time to talk to an investor who owns more than a hundred thousand shares

They make pontoons that big?

Yeah my guess is the GTC buy orders at $9.01 are gonna be several hundred thousand shares deep!

Well said. I think this group is more akin to the redneck yacht club.

Y’all know those boats too big to fit on the Ouachita River and Smack ain’t fixing to leave and go nowhere. He doesn’t like people enough to leave this area.
