My son was born at 27 weeks. He was in the NICU for 10 weeks and a couple surgeries. You meet some amazing people there. He’s 15 now and has no issues from being early.
That’s great to hear! Our daughter will need surgeries too at some point while we’re here to have a pacemaker put in and also likely to close her PDA which is common for babies born this prematurely. We’ve been in a waiting game though since she’s too unstable for that now.
Don’t want to derail the thread though, she has a fb group we keep updated called rally for Renée if interested in how she’s doing

I started reading at about the $1.80 mark
I first got in for 1000 shares at $0.70 a share on the first page of this thread. I called it my lottery ticket, but if this revolutionary process worked it could grow to dominate lithium production.
I'm sitting at around 35k shares now.

Don't feel bad about talking about your little one in the hospital man. From experience with a child in a children's hospital, you see kids there that really puts things in perspective about how bad you may or may not have it and about what is really important. I'll read any update you post on here

I don't know that I could handle the above. That kind of success could kill me.

Albemarle leads rebound rally in lithium producers

Albemarle leads rebound rally in lithium producers
quote:
Albemarle (ALB +5.3%) powers higher in leading a rebound for lithium producers after the sector sold off during the previous two sessions.
"Lithium fundamentals remain encouraging [and the] industry's upward pricing trajectory should portend an upward bias for established lithium suppliers," Loop Capital's Chris Kapsch writes in raising his FY 2022 earnings and EBITDA estimates for Albemarle as well as his stock price target to $208 from $199.

Lithium names Standard Lithium (SLI +15.6%), Livent (LTHM +6.4%), Lithium Americas (LAC +4.9%) and SQM (SQM +1.1%) also sport gains.

Let’s finish above $6. I added some more there Wednesday thinking we were about to blast off again with a PC the way it was moving premarket. Guess that comes on Tuesday. Those are our moon days now.

BOOM! Buyers at the bell to turn our little princess green for the weekend. Let's do this all again next week.

My son had a pda as well. At the time, they used a stainless clip the close the hole. He has a really small scar on his back and that hadn’t been an issue his whole life. At least we will be tell our kids about it the time we invested in SLI and made our lives a little more comfortable!

Here is a link to an article in the July issue of AMP Arkansas Money & Politics. Highlights the potential for a nice win on your lottery ticket!
Mintak said “Our demonstration plant is a first-of-its-kind-anywhere technology. A successful commercial development will make Arkansas a global showcase for sustainable lithium extraction.”
“Our hope is to have a final investment decision to begin commercial development before the end of the year,” Mintak said.

That is a very different timeline from what he’s stated previously correct? If I remember correctly he last said FID by July.

Much different.
Last interview I saw said end of 2Q. Then july
End of year would be significant backwards movements.
Probably will announce FID next week....

This. Inital timeline was JV first, then uplist. They've uplisted and Lanxess took stock instead of cash. Read between the lines. How many times have I said they have BEEN prepping and working at the expansion sites that haven't even been mentioned. There was a budget estimate. COVID has changed that. Takes time to reassess how it will affect costs, make sure needed materials are available. Lots of it was there on google earth late august/early September of last year. I can tell the date because I can see the fresh grave where I buried one of our basset hounds at the camp and the flowers my girls put on it still appear fresh. They need input from the LiSTR and SiFT units with demo plant to finalized tweaks to mega-plant. Doesn't mean big stuff isn't being built now. They ain't worried. The staff of 20 they said needed to be hired has been hired. They are now starting another round of hires. That tells me things are expanding or else they wouldn't be needed.
If you're worried, take your profits. Nothing is certain. Crazy shite can always happen, but I'm holding and still buying. If y'all do decide to sell in mass, please let me know ahead of time so I can free up as much cash as possible and set my buy orders.

No, it wouldn't. That read funny. It's have JV finalized and start construction on commercial expansion by end of year. And we're talking about more that the 3 Lanxess sites and the Tetra site. Those are just the first step. There are already old inactive areas that have been cleared and prepped for further production. He referred to those in another interview. They will take more money to get up and going than the Lanxess and Tetra sites. Lanxess has put money into prepping those sites, plus now have 60 brine production sites worldwide. SLI put significant money in build SiFT unit and other work during border closing. Initial JV having to be adjusted. Both parties are still moving forward. Basically working out formalities of contracts as situations have changed. But SLI is NOT going to further dilute ownership to raise funds to proceed further. If Lanxess sits on arse too long, nothing is stopping Tetra from funding SLI's work at Tetra site. Lanxess is on the clock. They frick this up and their investors will make sure heads roll. I continue to add to my Lanxess holdings as well. Solid company, still undervalued in my opinion. Have made strong moves to bolster profits in bromine production and many other areas not related to Arkansas site.
And how do we know the JV isn't being adjusted to account for their acquisition of 30-60 brine sites in Europe over the past year or so? That's just speculation, but a big coincidence. Europe wants European lithium in their batteries and vehicles. Lanxess now in lithium business.

Fair enough.
I figured they would finalize this JV and then work another JV for the new sites etc.
However, it definitely plays in lanxness interest to lock down as much expansion as possible before SLI technology success becomes well known.
