Dude $20 by end of month and I’m going have to pay short term cap gains on some of my shares. Although I could probably be OK just HODL’ing them for another 6-12 months. $20 per share hit with short term cap gains is probably post tax equal to $15 per share with long term gains given my tax bracket this year.

This stock choice and others are part of my high risk Roll-Over IRA account. Because I'm not at retirement age I don't plan withdraw from this account for at least another 10 years.
Don't think retirement will get closer, just possibly happen when I planned all along and maybe with more chips on the table than expected.
I don't have a PT on this stock, just willing to hold a long time, or as long as the company manages things correctly.
All that sounds great in my head, but if this things rockets in a very short window I'm not sure what I'd do... sleep would be lost... brown drink consumed....

Btw remember the analyst on SA who wrote the bullish article on STLHF calling it the “most boring play” but said he expected $6-9 over the next several years?
Looks like he was in the comments section of today’s news of SA. Someone asked him about that previous target price and while he didn’t give a straight answer he did say he expected it to go high now.

70k tons/year from Lanxess alone, and then whatever they can produce at Tetra site with the capability to increase quickly based on prices and demand.

That all may be true and I may well be wrong.
But the info you’re giving isn’t public. So either you have inside information (likely) or you’re speculating. All I said was that based on what we know (what has been PRd) I don’t see any justification of a $2 Billion MC right now.
If what you said is true (and I’m not doubting you, you’re closer to this than any of us and most of the public) then certainly the valuation changes. And that info may well be released in the next week or two. But until that info comes to light for the rest of us, then my present day economics remain in the ~$1B MC range.

I am! But I can’t buy in big chunks like everyone else. I buy in $100-300 increments and I only have 892. My initial goal was 1k shares.

2030 LI demand is projected to be 1.5M metric tons.

Still a bargain. I've been buying steady since March 2020. And my last 15k shares cost more than my first 90k shares.

Just popping in to join the fun. I'm up to about 6k shares now since the last dip to the 3.90s. If this thing dips to that range again I'm probably going to cut bait with all my losers and dump it all in this. As someone else said, damn it feels good to feel like I finally got a big lead on something before it blows up, instead of chasing something already running.
