Companies that make software/robotics for self-checkout and/or fast food automated systems

With minimum wage likely increasing and companies realizing over the past year that humans are needed less than thought, I see fast food places and grocery stores transitioning to self-checkout systems much more in the future. What are some companies we could invest in for this?

This does seem like a good buy. Anyone know of some good companies?

I would look at companies similar to Capers...ones that make the "smart cart", a system that registers the items in your shopping cart automatically, eliminating the need for time consuming self-checkout registers. IMO, this type system is what most retailers will eventually end up using.

capers is 100% the future. Surprised wal mart and sams have nto gone to this with as much as they have been losing to self checkout theft.

Capers sure does look like the ticket but unfortunately it is private
What public company options are out there?

Like some one else said NCR, there's also ROBO, a robotics and automation etf. Even if you didn't want an etf, you could probably look at their portfolio for ideas.

That’s an etf right?

I know you track them. Do you buy them as well for long term growth?

I’d like to read more about this. I always use the self checkout and I’ve never stolen a thing, but I always see a million ways in which it would be so easy to do amd then claim it as a mistake in the unlikely event you were caught.
