Are you still continuing to invest at current levels (in the $7/share range)? Thinking about adding to my position to lower my adjusted cost basis. It took a nose dive for two weeks across mid-to-late March, but appears to have stabilized in the current range for most of the month of April.

Do you think this is the bottom for CIM? Dividend appears to still be in tact as far as I can tell.

Dividend was cut by 40% I believe. I hold too much in my portfolio to risk more. The price shows there is still tremendous risk for this going bankrupt.

I originally bought at 9+ and I've bought more in the 6.50 - 7.25 range, almost sold it all yesterday

I would cut my position if I wasn't so far in the hole with it.

This is one of the very few cases of me buying too early in March. All the other stocks I bought in March are in the green. This turd I got at $14 and then I bought again at $7.95 to DCA, so I'm down 35% or so. But, out of about 15 different stocks I bought in the last 6 weeks this is the worst of it and I didn't go too big in.

I'm in almost the exact same position as you. Bought at approximately $13.8 on March 17th right in the middle of it's tumble. That week continued to be brutal immediately after my purchase. I haven't thrown any more money at it since then to DCA down a bit. That's my decision now... as well as continuing to hold to see if we see some improvement. It's not looking good though.

I think there was an earlier thread about CIM risk. Large mortgage exposure.

I hold some stocks but havent bought more but I've been option trading CIM with very good success, betting that it would bounce back from 6-7 and drop back down from 9-10. Luckily I exited my $8 calls at perfect timing earlier this week... sold my positions for 100% gains.

Nah. I got a good bit when it was below 7 to bring my average down to just under $10. Just going to hold and forget for awhile. Not dumping more into it.

If it gets anywhere near 10 in the short term I will probably offload it in full.

Up 11%. My cost was $7.46. I only have 50 shares, so I think I will just hold this one for a bit.

I missed this last week but looks like CIM is maintaining their dividend for the 2Q of .50. I guess we’ll see if they reduce it in the 3 or 4th qtr

I did this last week. I'm not going to let those funds sit and do nothing for me right now. Too many opportunities.

I've added enough on lower end to offset the shares i bought over 20 now. Think I'm up 4 or 5 bucks. Going to dump today.
