Lame. He was the only one besides Dave who didn't bore the shite out of me.

Hogan got caught laying pipe outside of marriage. That's against Dave's rules.

He's got a pretty good following. May be a blessing in disguise. A lot of listeners will follow him wherever he ends up. At the end of the day, most people care more about the advice, than they do about someone's private personal life.

it will be really surprising to see if chris continues to preach the ramsey standards, or if he starts to deviate from the rules. i like alot of what ramsey says, its helped me alot, but at the same time, some of his rules are nonsensical.

All law, no grace. That ain't Christian.

Hogan had also been a source of controversy at the company, which employs about 1,000 people at its headquarters just south of Nashville. Ramsey Solutions prides itself on being “the best place to work in America” and requires employees to adhere to a strict “righteous living” code that bans gossip and sex outside of marriage. The company is being sued for firing a pregnant employee who was unmarried.

Ramsey himself has been outspoken in defending the company’s culture, which he has described as “godly.”

“Don’t talk to me about how you love your pastor and your church. And I just moved in with my boyfriend,” he told employees in 2018, after news of the lawsuit broke. “That’s so freaking inconsistent and stupid.”

The way his video is worded and the fact that it's being put out by Ramsey tells me that he has a pretty ironclad non-compete fricking him harder than he did his coworker.

Maybe, just maybe he disagreed with this "advice" Ramsey gave to this young lady?

The dumbest thing you'll listen to today maybe because the COMPANY WAS PAYING THE DEBT!!! (go to .38)

And anyone who needs baby-steps, is a baby. What's this guy's license?

Was going to say that maybe the wealth-builder used a margin loan...

But it sounds like Hogan has had some other issues that the company was willing to bend it's rules for. Maybe something came out that was one too many.

Also, reading that e-mail that the Ramsey PR people out out... holy crap. I get mocking a reporter, but this is pretty outlandish.

Thanks for reaching out. We want to confirm for you that you are right, we are horrible evil people. We exist to simply bring harm to our team, take advantage of our customers, and spread COVID. And YOU figured it all out, wow. Who would have guessed that an unemployed guy, oh I am sorry, a “freelance reporter” would be the one to show us how horrible we are so we can change and to let the world know of our evil intent, secrets, and complete disregard for decency…..but YOU did it, you with all your top notch investigative skills have been able to weave together a series of half-truths to expose our evil ways. You are truly amazing.

Because your personal virtue is so incredible, we want to help you with your hit piece and confirmation bias. We actually have audio of the time Chris Hogan farted in church and you should have a listen, it is truly horrendous.

Dave's company routinely wins best places to work in Tennessee or Nashville or whatever I believe, but there always seem to be outlandish stories come out also.

It would not surprise me at all to find out that many of those survey answers were "approved" by management.

Kind of like when you buy a car, and the salesmen says when the survey arrives, bring it on by to me, I'll take care of it, and give you a free oil change while I'm at it.
