This just confirms my worst fears. It seems that liking Amsterdam on MT is about like masturbating on a plane. It may not be illegal but it is frowned upon.

Redundant terminology would have been understandable. YOUR terminology, however, was just nonsensical babble. To wit:

quote:

She has the highest level certification you can get for a CFA.

That one sentence demonstrates an almost total lack of understanding of the rudiments of the CFA program. It isn't "redundant". It wasn't poorly worded. It's just stupid and ignorant.

Wrong again. Everyone understands your comments. It's just that they're worthless and stupid.

Jersey, sometimes you have to remind yourself that this site is intended for entertainment purposes. When it becomes more than that for you, you should relax and take step back.

Approximately 8% pass all 3 parts on 1st try? So, I should be more impressed with my husband who was working, publishing, and helping run the kids around, and still found time to pass all 3 parts 1st try?

Where can I find him a job that will appreciate his top 10%?

Why am I not surprised at your cluelessness as to how much I and the rest of the board are utterly entertained whenever you appear?

I know several people who juggled full lives while passing the test. They all argue that it actually HELPED them, because they were forced to designate specific times to focus on the test. Who knows if there's anything to that theory.

You definitely should be impressed by your husband.

You are clearly lying, as everyone knows all L3 CFAs are running hedge funds or broker-dealers.

Comgrats man. I passed too I got 70's on all but 1 section. Can't complain, but I hate being that close to perfect.

Did you take the prep course with ts?

There is no way we haven't met.

I suspect that this percentage is higher with the appropriate correlation coefficient. i.e. the results are not fully independent (some people may do better on each of the tests)

I agree, but the correlation coefficient comment made me chuckle.

That's pretty funny. Same for the comment about how "level 3 CFA's" are running billion dollar funds.

I'm just waiting for someone to claim he's a super duper black belt 5th dan CFA.

Congrats. On to the next step.

When I was doing this half the LSU faculty was involved in promoting the program. I worked with Walter Morales back then, he was actively involved in the early days of the CFA program and was an exam grader too.

Yeah, THF we prolly know each other.

LSU is a "CFA Partner School" now and the CFA is promoted fairly heavily, not many participate however.

If you like football and watch it on the weekends, wait to take it in the spring, also the test is BEFORE finals whereas in the spring it is 3 weeks after school.
