Incredible interview with Sam fried, ceo of FTX- now the largest bankruptcy ever.

Very candid and frankly Ill advised- from a legal standpoint.

They asking him about what he knew, when he knew it… where money went… drugs…

He says he never intended to be a fraud.
Made a lot of mistakes
Very sorry. Said we really screwed up bigtime. Wants to be helpful wherever he can.

Never imagined that 10billion could be lost.

Not a drug user except for some drugs prescribed for focus.
Rarely drinks alcohol.

Still in a Bahamas but said he’d be willing to come to the us

This is the most amazing financial interview I ever saw

Then it cut off abruptly

He basically hid billions of imaginary shares in his “token exchange”

If the SEC decides they are back in the enforcement business, dude’s shite is roasted

Watched most… I don’t think stupidity defense is gonna work.

Claimed he didn’t know FTX and Almeda were that intertwined… yet his girl was head of Almeda if I remember right?

Never trust a billionaire that’s banging a girl that looks like a teenage orc - strong investing advice.

Lehman was the biggest. I know you were joking about Kroger, but Lehman was a staggering $691 billion company that filed.

The only smidgen of truth in that statement is that he probably never intended to be a fraud in the first place, but he definitely intentionally committed fraud when he when he started to fail miserably.

Bill Ackman believes him though, which I guess is like one villain believing another one. We all knew SBF and Ackman were terrible people.

But it’s Kevin O’Leary who really lost the last ounce of credibility he might have had left, but he also lost all respectability with this tweet:

I lost millions as an investor in @FTX and got sandblasted as a paid spokesperson for the firm but after listening to that interview I’m in the @billAckman camp about the kid!

Yeah you don’t get to be a genius on the way up, then suddenly become an idiot on the way down. I mean he is an idiot, but not the lack of capacity as he’s presenting it.
