Instead of trying to speculate on a single winning horse, I’d go with an established ETF in whatever industry(s) that you have a conviction on for that kind of dollar cost averaging approach.

Maybe, for example, ETFs that are tech related and are pure plays in (of course) generative AI and also automation. One rocket wouldn’t make you rich, but also, one dud wouldn’t kill you.

But for a single stock, I’d just be coin flipping/guessing. 10 years is a loooong time. Studies show that over 10 year periods, a sizable number of S&P500 companies fall by the wayside for one reason or another.

I would put it in a broad based index fund. S&P 500 or Total Stock Market.

The correct answer is BRK-B. Berkshire Hathaway B shares….b/c A shares are $555K a share. Currently $365 a share and up 18% YTD….69% over 5 years (13.8% avg per year).

THIS…In retrospect it won’t be the correct answer. But since we aren’t clairvoyant, if you want a guaranteed winner, BRK-B is the bet bet to be a winner over any considerable time frame.

They're targeting India for retail and manufacturing. They believe like 40 billion over the next 10 years from India alone.

Take that for what it's worth. I don't know how predictable or reliable India actually is.

India has tremendous potential, but I can't speak to its reliability. One thing that has perked my interest in India's future is their commitment to investing in Nuclear energy.

I believe they are building something like 100 Thorium reactors. Thorium is supposedly cheaper, cleaner and more stable than Uranium and just as efficient.

The US (both the government and our citizens) simply refuses to accept that Nuclear is painfully under utilized.

It's something that I really need to do more research on because I think there's a lot of money to be made here.

Distribute it amongst the top 10 weighted S&P 500 names by weight. Rebal every year. It’s outpaced almost every other passive buy and hold strat by a comical amount.

Whatever fraction of a share of MKL I can purchase each month.

Similar to BRK, insurance company with great margins, dipping their toe into other markets and industries to diversify.

Sure but for the Nasdaq 100, top 10 makes up all the gains.

Over what time frame? And do you have any proof? I’m intrigued

Instead of one stock for ten years. Pick a new stock for each year. So after 10 years you'll have 10 stocks with $6000 invested in each of them. Diversify.
