Where do you guys see it if Cam can get his preparation, focus and confidence tuned all the way up.

Mett's best game (highlights)

get the line to blockin', and the WRs to catchin', and I think he can throw for around 3000 yds and 25 TDs, which should be good enough to get us where we wanna go.

Although sloppy and immobile, he did enough for us to win every game last season.

I agree, I think the biggest issues on offense were o-line play and dropped passes.
I am not worried about Mett going into this season.

Why the hell did they include the very end of the game?

If we would've had the defense from 2011, Mett would've played just well enough to have us undefeated and we would've destroyed ND in the NC game. Losing Claiborne, Mathieu, and Taylor was painful.

I think we saw Mettenberger's potential on full display last season.

Does that include not scoring a touchdown in the second half against Florida?

If we protect him and have a good game plan each week, he will be as good as almost anyone we have had. If we don't do that, he won't look very good.

If he stops being scared of being picked off on the deep balls...then sky is the limit. Way too many overthrows where he didn't give our receivers a chance to make a play.

The recievers hurt him early in the season with dropped balls, the O line hurt him late in the season with bad protection. He hurt himself many times on overthrown deep balls, he didn't connect on a single one.

Thats Les I think. Zach was a gunslinger everywhere he went before LSU. We play turnover reducing, safe football because our defense allows us to. Not sure I always agree with that, but its what Les believes.

Mett will be a solid pro. He has all the tools. I think Cameron will really help him out and develop him for the next level. Pro scouts are going to LOVE that Cameron tutored him for a year.

Way too optimistic, IMO.

Not Florida, but still good point.

The main thing I would like to see is Mett understanding pass protections and checking into protections that will avoid him getting killed. I'm not talking about a DE whipping the OT around the edge, I'm talking about LBs and DBs coming through untouched because the blitz was not picked up correctly.

Mett will be All SEC...at least 2nd Team in 2013 and be drafted in top 2 rounds of net year's NFL draft after a solic year of rupturing from Cam.
