9-3, possibly 8-4. Bk is on the hotseat next year and will hopefully be gone for the 26 season. Cheers!

Anything less that 10-2 would be unacceptable

10-2 playoffs if nuss balls
If Nussmeier is great, I see no reason for 2 losses.

I don't think the defense will be the grotesque liability they were last year. I think the offense will be powerful, but not the wide-open attack we saw with Daniels; I think there will be a big emphasis on establishing the run and eating clock. My hope is we can hold the ball and score, then get a couple stops, and win most games by 1-2 scores.

Hope is 11-1 or 12-0, but my prediction is 10-2. My floor is 9-3. With this schedule, if we lose 4 games we're having serious problems.

Part of that is the schedule. Unlike a lot of people, I think Ole Miss is going to have something go sideways and not have the year they think they will; and I also don't think A&M is going to challenge this year.

Lol

It’s very obvious that the LSU program is on the upswing under Kelly. He won’t be gone for many years. Sorry to burst your bubble.

I agree but at the same time a great team could have two losses against this schedule easily. OM, Bama, A&M and OU are going to be very tough regardless of how well Nuss is doing. I'd be very very very happy with 10 regular season wins.

I am hoping 10-2, as long as we beat USC.

Win at least two out of
Ole Miss
A&M
Bama
OU

Losses to So Cal, Ole Miss, ATM, and Florida. Really don't see the defense doing a complete 180. There aren't studs in the trenches. The losses will be close, and the D will let us down. Get used to it.

This makes the most sense

So we lose to USC & Florida, but we beat Bama & OU….. no that actually makes zero sense

This is accurate. 2025 & 2026 are years of contention if they stay healthy and recruiting classes stay intact

We’re spoiled and I’m not buying in to the hype this year. Offense will not be as potent and defense should be a bit better. Not popular but I’m mentally preparing for 8-4.

Split with USC/UCLA
Split with Ole Miss/aTm
Lose to Bama
Split with Florida/Oklahoma

8-4. DL is not experienced enough, nor are the CBs. The talent is also lacking at safety and we are breaking in a new defensive scheme. We are also going to see a drop off in the offense since we lost a Heisman QB. Losses to Ole Miss, Bama, TAMU and OU.

I’ll push back on that. I’m going with 9-3/10-2 if we beat USC in the opener. I think the offense will take a step back but not by much because I think we’re going to pound the fricking rock down some team’s throats this year with Jackson and the other RBs and be more balanced

Defense won’t be great but will be miles better than last year. With that combo, and some of our toughest games at home, I like the Tigers chances. If they beat USC and Ole Miss, they’ll make the playoff. Those are easily the two biggest games that will determine our outcome.
