I thought he improved from last game. Atkins/Rattay found something he could run better.

Still very inconsistent throwing the ball and rushes plays when not needed.

I think he has a higher ceiling than where he is at now. Curious if Lane tries to retain him as a backup/development project. I think he fits the profile Lane wants but not sure if he is talented enough to make the improvement.

No wishes from me one way or another but we need 2 QBs and it will be hard to get 2 alphas

when they abandoned the run he started getting more comfortable and confident throwing. showed he's not afraid to run. was inconsistent in badly missing some throws. but he could be a decent, good qb imo.

He had some great moments last night. He also had a ton of moments where he looks scared sh less... the one thing I thought we'd have was a seasoned qb since he had good games against Florida and uga as a true fr, and started a ton of games. Alot of under throws on simple hitch or curl routes, or inaccurate throws no where near the target. He also doesnt realize how athletic he is half the time and doesnt get yards and or plays right in front of him.

Its tough to assess how good he can be when hes so inconsistent, the line doesnt help any qb for us this year, and no run game to take pressure off.

If we bring in a qb1 like chambliss or ariz st kid, I wouldn't mind him as a backup with lane coaching him. He'd have to change his mindset on how to run when its his name called, and the passing aspects I think can be improved.

Def improved and more room for growth. Dont know how you can throw ankle balls as a qb but I did like seeing him run. Also not gonna dock him too much with no O line.

Lane can turn him into a very good qb, imo. If he stays, it would be awesome. He would provide depth, if somehow Chalbliss ends at LSU.

Definitely improved a lil but still not starter material, definitely deserves a few packages as a runner

He has potential. Not sure he’d be ready to be a starter next year but Burrow and JD didn’t tear it up their first years starters. And he hasn’t even had a full year as a starter yet. You still need to go get a portal QB but if he was to stay and learn kiffens system who knows what his ceiling could be.

I think the board has been full on retarded about him. Hes no genius, hes not joe burrow accurate, but hes a decent qb. If he got support and PT, i see potential. He def played better than nuss.

If wed have started him all season, we would have won more games. Period.

He definitely has good skills and can be a dual threat. With the right guidance he can improve in a pretty big way. I saw his frustration with himself when he got sacked late in the game. He has high expectations of himself and owns his mistakes, which are strong qualities.

Decent arm, runs well, average to below average vision and decision making.

My curiousity is if Lane can sharpen him up. He has the tools but he is still pretty rough

I expect Lane will figure it out. He gets paid for that opinion.

Has shown flashes his first 2 years. Had big moments as Miss State. I have no problem with him riding the pine to develop more. He could actually develop into something much better under Kiffin.

He was supposed to redshirt and develop, but that was burned with Nuss’ quitting. Maybe he’s willing to actually take the redshirt next season. I would think his decision is going to be based on who we get in the portal and how much eligibility they have.
