Wow. So crazy. I'm sitting here reading through the thread and I swear I'm thinking the exact same thing. Chris Jackson captured my imagination like nobody else.

What is this, a Lays Potato Chip thing?
I started with Jerry Stovall as a youngster, then I got to the Pistol. Along with TCasanova & BJones. Hodson, Hilliard & the gang. KFaulk was awesome, too. Baseball became the game of the 90's, with some really great names, TWalker, Furniss, Morris, & of course Big Ben. Shaquille & Chris were great. The 2000's brought a lot more names.
But, when I think of the one Tiger that not only changed his sport, but is still one of the all time greatest to play the game, and that is,
Pistol Pete Maravich.

Kevin Faulk. What can I say, first cut is the deepest. He's the first guy from LSU I remember being wowed by, dude made so many unreal plays in so many different ways. Then when I got older I realized his impact on recruiting and how he was kinda the guy that made it cool for Louisiana recruits to stay home. Then he had a solid career with the Pats and won 3 titles, kinda like their Pierre Thomas kinda guy. Always have a special place in my heart for him.

Agreed. He was extra ordinary. A shame what happened to him in the pros.
