Are the referees are making Leavitt throw interceptions in every game but the last one?

Great. Constructive opinion thread. So the refs cause our qb to miss wide open game sealing tds? Silly excuses.

Let me refer you to this thread LINK

5 of Sam Leavitt's 8 interceptions were due to tipped, deflected, or dropped balls.
Only 3 of his passes ON THE ENTIRE SEASON have been considered turnover worthy plays. And of those 3, only 1 was a poor read, the louisiana tech pick six. The other 2 were the correct read but resulted in a turnover worthy play due to poor timing/accuracy.

So you really think some dentist from Pascagoula is going to call or not call a penalty based on a lawsuit? Unless someone from the SEC office is on the field, it is an absurd speculation.
I have not been in favor of the legal proceedings between the two parties, but the recent filing by the AG is needed, Wade has been 100% concise that they will follow the SEC rules on player eligibility. The SEC office is out of line in this regard.

What do you want LSU to do?
Kentucky also had some calls go against them in that game. Blaming losing the game on just refs is disingenuous. SEC refs, as a whole, have been pretty bad at points all throughout the season in multiple big games. It's not just an LSU thing.

What were we thinking.

Some of his worst passes have been the ones he didn’t even attempt. No refs cause him to take off before he sees the field.

“He throws too many interceptions”
“He doesn’t throw enough”

Not sure what ur laughing at. Pretty sure everyone that has watched the games knows what I’m talking about.

He throws too many interceptions and doesn’t see guys running wide open. What’s difficult or contradictory about that to you

I don’t know about officiating however, the constant mention of the case by sports media is definitely intended to hurt the LSU brand. The SEC is engaged in a character assassination of LSU and its coaches and administration which is unprecedented as far as I can recall. For the SEC to villainize a founding member is a terrible mistake for all involved. Sankey is playing a dangerous game.
I’ll add that the constant barrage of negativity aimed at LSU by Paul Finebaum and the SEC Network is unacceptable. Once the SEC case is over, LSU needs to go after him. Maybe not in court but with complete ridicule and disrespect. Humiliate that bald weasel.

No way to prove that…
The thing that concerns me is that part of the basis for our motion is predicated on acknowledging that the SEC can kick us out, and is almost flaunting that fact as a mechanism to undermine the arguments of the SEC.
There are at least 3 schools (OM, TN and AL) that were zealously advocating for our dismissal before the season.
I think our argument, if successful, could result in Sankey pursuing that option.

So are you suggesting they aren't turnovers?

Agree. I wish we never would have sued the SEC.
Wait, I mean even though they sued us, Inwish we would have just asked the court to quickly dismiss the suit.

The actual character of LSU is hurting LSU.
Hiring a jackass like Kiffin, a known problem like Wade.
Reaping what they sow

If you don’t think the refs view LSU and Kiffin with a different set of eyes than say Vandy or Missouri (I’m leaving out hometown favorite Alabama), you’re kidding yourself. They didn’t cost us the OM or KY losses but if it’s questionable, you can be confident it’s not going our way.

Winning?
You know what hurts the reputation more? Losing and being totally irrelevant. That's were LSU was in basketball and trending that way in football.
Plus why, as an LSU fan, should I really care what some Oregon, or Alabama, or Ohio State fans thinks about LSU sports? Or some media dork who just wants attention?
