You act like lsu’s hitting routinely crushes preconference opponents
Where do you people come from?

A bunch of baseball illiterate dumb asses around here. LSU faced a stud last night and got shut the frick down. It happens. You know who else got shut the frick down? Arkansas. I’m pretty sure a lot of people think they’re pretty damn good. LSU may well end up having a rough year at the plate. But the game last night gives absolutely zero insight into that one way or another.

Who was getting their hopes up? I knew this team would struggle at the plate. This has been a pattern for several years now.

Most of the lineup hasn't ever seen SEC pitching. Maybe they adjust as the season goes along, maybe they don't. But, making final judgments on what the team will be after one SEC game is silly.

Even the very best offenses (not calling us the best or near the best) will get shut down for games. That in fact IS baseball, whether you like to hear that or not. Let the season play out. Try to enjoy baseball. Let’s not have a rollercoaster reaction all season long.

It is possible to acknowledge that the MSU starter was a stud. At the same time outside of home runs LSU has struggled against guys nowhere near as good as last night.

True. And if you wanna make that argument, I’ll listen. But most of the sky is falling posts on this board last night and this morning are reactionary to what happened last night. And that’s just silly.

Yep 12 consecutive losing seasons with no SEC championships, no regional or super regional wins, no trips to Omaha have been depressing, haven't they Karen?

You drama queens are such idiots.
