What is more important to you - yelling like a jackass or spending the time with your grandson? Do whichever you feel is more important.

If you are not hoarse on Sunday, you didn't yell enough!

You definitely are not in the wrong. If people leave Tiger Freaking Stadium because of your yelling, I hope they trip down the escalator on the way out. They don't belong there to start with.

Dude, it's a football game, and sometimes the tension in a really close game is high and folks need to vent.

Vent all you want.

How do we feel about this? Obviously, we are lauded week in and week out for how disruptive it is for the other team / how fired up it gets our own team.

In a big game, with a tight score, I yell really loud for most defensive plays, like probably 95 percent of the defensive snaps, I'm yelling really loud for about 10-15 seconds before the snap. Usually something like "HOOOOOAAAAA"

I can tell some people around me think it is annoying. People rearrange their seating in front of me. My grandson's friends left at halftime because they didn't like it. I think they just moved sections - or hope they did anyway. It was a great game and I don't want them to leave.

Were you there the other night? Do you think it was only a few unsure people like yourself who were yelling?

Keep doing what you are doing. As long as it is clean don’t stop. If someone has a problem with someone being passionate about their team in a sporting event they need to stay home. It’s been a long time since I have heard Tiger Stadium that loud and it was great to hear. For the people that have a problem they can

The lamos behind me were asking me to sit down during the game. Pissed me off. I really only stand when were on defense too.

Kudos to you. I yell almost every opponet snap too.

Unfortunately some ppl come "for the experience" but don't bother to participate. Coughrichmuckitymuckscough

Next time you're yelling up a storm and ppl around you aren't, yell at them: our team is relying on us, make some noise!

Don't be just a spectator, participate and you'll have a much better time! (Especially when it results in a false start! That's the best!)

15 seconds before is a long time. When the offense breaks the Huddle is when it's time to start amping things up.

Why can't you do both? You get your grandson to yell like a jackass like everyone else and you'll both have a much better time, and your grandson will love you even more for that experience.

To you baws that did yell, you helped my decibel reader hit 122.8 at its peak. Cheers. I was in the South Endzone not the one they had on the field.

During the ga southern game I felt I was the only one going nuts the whole game . Everybody else would just cheer on the big plays. That shits weak.

When I was leaving a guy that was sitting a row down came up to me and said “ man, you made sure they heard you on the field, didn’t you?
I said you goddamn right .

He was cool and was kinda rowdy too.
I just can’t see the point in sitting there being quite, that’s not why you go to games .

You're welcome and dayum. I was in the South End zone too. Thought it was louder than what they were showing on the scoreboard. They need to recalibrate their meter.

Yeah...what's up with that one on the screen?

Never saw it go past 104.6

Just about passed out trying to make it hit 105

Same...and if it's not ok I'm happy to not be ok.

My thing is most casual LSU fans LOVE to talk about hoe great Tiger Stadium is. They'll tell co-workers about how loud it is, how intimidating, etc. but the truth is, far too many people sit quietly and enjoy the work done by the other side of the stadium and forget to return the favor. The REASON the other side sounds loud for you, is because those folks over there are making noise.

ETA: I can tell how big a game it was by how long my voice is fricked. I sound like Darth Vader still today...

Why go if you're not going to yell?

I'd have been yelling with you.

Clearly you are being a bit obnoxious if people in your section are leaving. And kindly stand up if you are going to yell, otherwise you are yelling directly into someone's ear. Sitting and yelling is for amateurs.
