How do we feel about this? Obviously, we are lauded week in and week out for how disruptive it is for the other team / how fired up it gets our own team.

In a big game, with a tight score, I yell really loud for most defensive plays, like probably 95 percent of the defensive snaps, I'm yelling really loud for about 10-15 seconds before the snap. Usually something like "HOOOOOAAAAA"

I can tell some people around me think it is annoying. People rearrange their seating in front of me. My grandson's friends left at halftime because they didn't like it. I think they just moved sections - or hope they did anyway. It was a great game and I don't want them to leave.

I'm not really abrasive or obnoxious, just loud. Is this ok?

I yell

its a football game everyone should

It annoys me to no end when a away team scores and the refs are like "the stadium got quite in a hurry!"

yeah no shite. We were load when they were playing offense, they aren't anymore.

I do the same thing but I'm on the front row with no one directly in front of me and I cup my hands to direct it toward the field. I have been next to guys who are over the top / drunk and it's annoying. I don't mind people being loud. It's college football. Bring ear plugs if it bothers you.

If the other team has the ball in yelling. It’s my duty as a fan to the team imo

Well those old fricks can STTD. If they don't like noise at stadiums then there are plenty of passionate drunk fans who would love to have those tickets instead. Good lord what pussies.

It's a football game; not a tennis match.

This picture describes my behavior during a game whether I'm at the game or watching it by myself at home...

You should yell like hell when QB is looking at sideline or at line of scrimmage. Certainly not when we are on offense you did your job as a Tiger.

Yup. There were plenty I saw in the student section who were just sitting there motionless.

I yell until I get that splitting whiskey drunk headache from holding my breath while yelling.

I take 5 seconds to recover and then yell again.

Rinse and repeat.

Of course you yell the loudest you can. You should also clap. You can pound your foot on the bench as well. If someone gets annoyed, they are not real Tiger fans who frequent Death Valley.

There are some people who are obnoxious and annoying about it. Instead of just yelling, they feel the need to make weird sounds and draw attention to themselves.

Agreed! I'm definitely sitting. But also definitely using my outside voice.

It's your job as a fan in Tiger Stadium. If the rest of them don't like it, they can go watch ULaLa or Southern, or better yet Tulane.

Encourage them to yell too. Help get the crowd going. Dont be a dick, have fun with it. You're part of the game when you're in the stadium. Dont let the Tigers down.
