Yall need to stop ragging on the defense.

Improvement is needed but they at least created some turnovers and made plays down the stretch
If they can make slight improvements each week then we have a chance to run the table

It's horrific defense. Even Boutte is speaking out its that bad.
It's mainly scheme but Kelly likes rushing 4 with very little pressure on QB.
Once there is a want to pressure the QB I don't see much changing.

The whole team started slow but improved as the game went on. Road SEC win over an undefeated and ranked opponent, let’s enjoy it.

We have two losses and are out of any shot of a Natty because of their horrific play, and they were terrible outside of about 10 minutes yesterday. Get out of here with that noise

Not against Ole Miss. can’t have your O score 49 points and lose. That’s unacceptable. And frankly it’s nuts to have 49 (42 from the O) points on the board against Missouri and it still comes down to the wire.
That is just unacceptable here. Have to have zero tolerance for it. Otherwise it’s how you fade into obscurity.

No, but we must temper expectations. This defense is not good enough to make a deep SEC run, without significant improvement.
LSU is currently 4-2 (3-1)
Let's assume LSU handles Army and Ga State easily. To merely equal the regular season 2022, have to win 3 of these 4:
Auburn
Bama
Florida
aTm
...and there are just 2 or 3 losses on there based on the defensive performance to date. I mean, it is more likely we lose all 4 than win all 4, but neither of those scenarios is likely. It is more likely to lose 3 than win 3, again based on what we've seen from the defense. Going 2-2 there, finishing 8-4 will be a solid result based on what we've seen so far.
