There is no question based on what we’ve seen to this point LSU should be ranked #1
We were the only team that played anyone with pulse and we fricking dismantled them and absolutely buried a coach and program that won two national championships in the past decade.
That doesn’t mean we are the best team in the country, but the voters have no choice but to put us in the top 5 at least.

If they are ranked #1 it will probably only be for one week; with the winner of the Texas/Ohio St. game moving to that spot after week 2.

Olemiss plays a ranked team and if they win they will be number 1 before us. We break the top 10 I don't see them ranking us in top 5, bias is a real thing

Rankings are a joke in Week 0-1,…. let’s see after Texas/OH St and then LSU/OM then you start to see who should be ranked and in what order…

With recent events LSU does mot have many media friends outside Louisiana so don’t expect a high jump in rankings.
