Wade signed a top 3 class. The recruits are from all over the country. The NCAA looked into it and couldn't find any evidence and Alleva said the school has looked into it and found we followed all the rules. What's the issue? They can look all the want when they don't find anything. In fact it's a good thing. Now other coaches can't say we are recruiting by cheating.

It's just funny how certain schools draw "interest" from the NCAA for recruiting at a high level, while others can have unprecedented runs and have mounds of evidence all over social media with kids practically bragging about their payoffs and not one word is written about it nor is it discussed on the 20 million sports shows on tv.

I agree. I know WHY they post it, but there really isn't a story. It pretty much says the NCAA put him on their radar (like many other CBB coaches) and that their investigation has stalled for lack of on the record specifics.
So the NCAA had him on their radar and couldn't find anything going on so why even publish this story? (again, I know why.. it's all about getting as many hits to their site as possible, etc), but they don't even say what tactics that were being questioned.

NCAA pursues this, but ignores far more obvious events.
Wade is a good coach and LSU had a good player to get in state.. it's easy for a basketball class to feed off each other.

Damn I wonder if Alleva gave Will an extra check as soon as he was employed to pay those guys to come to LSU? I guess Naz Reid having his girlfriend here wasn't the reason for his signing?

Btw, we are ALL cheating.....Yes, LSU does it too. Had a conversation with a former db for LSU once in Orange beach who was from mobile. It was quite "enlightening"
For the record, I've had the same conversations with players from Bama, auburn, south Alabama, jax state. If you're coaching big time athletics, you're cheating. Out of 25 football players u sign now, maybe 2 go there because its in their "heart" to play there and would go under any circumstances. Most of these kids don't give a shite anymore about allegiances. 35, 40 years ago, yea. Kids went where they were fans of. Now, it's the highest bidder only and they couldn't care less what colour jersey they are going to wear.
