For the record, I've had the same conversations with players from Bama, auburn, south Alabama, jax state. If you're coaching big time athletics, you're cheating. Out of 25 football players u sign now, maybe 2 go there because its in their "heart" to play there and would go under any circumstances. Most of these kids don't give a shite anymore about allegiances. 35, 40 years ago, yea. Kids went where they were fans of. Now, it's the highest bidder only and they couldn't care less what colour jersey they are going to wear.

Roy Williams pretty much bought the 2005 (or 2006... I forgot the year) championship. He ran a dirty program at Kansas and there is an argument that can be made that he had a hand in LSU's probation over the Lester Earl situation.
At one time I think a lot of people assumed UNC would receive some type of sanctions because of things they found in an investigation, but nothing became of it. Roy Williams is a dirt bag.

I get the fact that everybody does it. I guess my issue is if you aren’t a blue blood - LSU Basketball and you pull down a great recruiting class. This was bound to happen.
What will come of it -
1. Nothing. But he won’t likely get a recruiting class like this again.
2. If nothing comes from all of this FBI stuff - I worry that it will just get worse. Everybody just starts paying ... and the blue bloods will be back in control.
Imo. It’s the AAU coaches that are the big problem in this. I actually think college BBall recruiting is the slimiest of any of the collegiate sports.
