Nothing I have seen from that guy Daniels tells me he can beat UGA or Bama.

And you would say differently about what you’ve seen from Nussmeier?

players want to play. The bad thing about QB is there can only be one. Not like WR or RB where there are multiple spots.

So I don't blame ANY QB, at any school, for transferring so they have a better chance for playing time. Hell, Baker Mayfield transferred, and won the Heisman. Kyler Murray too. Joe Burrow too.

College eligibility goes by in a flash. Nothing wrong with a player going to a place where they can actually play, rather than holding a clipboard.

That's all find and good. But, as it relates to 2022, how would him transferring prior to the season help him get playing time in the future?

It doesn't. In fact, it would hurt him.

Like saban said, players aren't transferring to sit.
Sends a bad message to future transfers.
You have to have a need, they have to have the ability. You can't accept transfers that don't fit those two requirements.

Good point. Let’s never make a decision because there’s a possibility it could be the wrong one. Just play them all at once!

Real galaxy brain stuff here

I would have been fine with any of the three. If it is true Brennan has stepped aside from football then, for better or worse, that simplifies our situation somewhat.

Whoever wins the Daniels / Nuss competition will ultimately have fan support and I personally think Nuss stays even if Daniels is named starter. The three-man room was ultimately not for the best. All that said, I won't be surprised if Nuss *ends* the season as the starter, which at this point in time is far more important than who starts against FSU.

Regarding Myles, my guess is either CBK simply told Myles the truth or he saw the writing on the wall: it won't be you. Again.

So he's apparently leaving football. I'm glad he's not transferring out trying to relive HS (or what he no doubt hoped his time at LSU would be) and playing out the string at some scrub school for one last ride.

In the end Brennan really tried, but so did we. The stars were, unfortunately, never aligned. Russell Shepherd and Ryan Perilloux can relate.

Just don’t get it with our WRs being our strength.

Between the two, Nuss certainly seemed to be better at standing in and delivering to our playmakers.

You kinda missed my point. Didn't mean all 4 should get equal snaps, I said Myles got none and Nuss was hurt during the only scrimmage

Maybe more like running QB who couldn’t pass, JTBarrett, being retained by Urban despite both Haskins and Burrow available.

For depth I hope it’s Nuss. I could see Nuss transferring if Daniels gets the nod

If he were to transfer it wouldn’t be until after the year. He’s not going to leave in August because he didn’t get a starting job going into his redshirt freshman season. He would still have to sit out this year.

He threw for 35 TD’s and ran for 12 in 2017. Give it up. Idk why you are always talking about Ohio st. Qb situation 5 years ago.

Or we don’t want a receiver playing QB.

We have a top-3 WR among several elite targets; need an accurate pocket passer to distribute the ball.
