Hopefully NO recruits saw that $hitshow. And if they did, we need to question their mentality. That was HORRIBLE COACHING
We lost 8 out of the top 12 in the state this year. What I'm I missing here. Shrimp Boat Captain locked down the state. We'll lose at least 3 of the out of state commitments by start of school next year.

Anyone else concerned with all these out of state recruits when we have the most fertile recruiting ground in the US. This looks like Texas with Tom Herman. He keep signing out of state players when he had the state of Texas. Thoughts.....

Never recall Western Michigan ahead of us in the rankings when Shrimp Boat Captain was here. JMO
Sure has changed since the days of the SHRIMP BOAT CAPTAIN. We were always being mentioned with big time recruits. Now all I ever see it seems is Ohio State, Georgia, Texas A & M, and USC
Solo, I think your post is great. But, I think it's hard to be a national contender when schools in the West are signing 8 - 5 Stars. At the National Championship level, I think you need more of a mix (Local + 5 starts)
On a different note, not seeing LSU mention on rivals with the 5 stars like back in the day with Coach O. This is VERY concerning to me.
