I said, if you read it, that i would be fine with adding a school from Virginia. The post was saying that Arkansas and South Carolina shouldn't be in the SEC. My point was that Arkansas and South Carolina were in the "South" so why would you say they are not SEC schools, but yet they say VT and WV would be ok. Doesn't make sense.

Just a thought on the WVa secession from Va thing.
It was a fricking good thing. That was a bunch of poor whites telling the aristocratic, slave holding, rich arse plantation owners they they wouldn't fight and die to preserve a labor system that did nothing to benefit them.

Props to the entire state of West Virginia for that. frick Virginia, their aristocrats, and their land-grabbing, greedy asses.

BTW-Stonewall Jackson was from West Virginia (close to Morgantown)..
Listen, the South v. North thing is not about geography as much as culture and history...
The southern 2/3rds of WV has the exact same people and culture as western NC, eastern TN, western VA etc.
Most of WV is southern...hell the Eastern Shore of MD is southern in culture...
