The one relieve pitcher was returning verbal but overall

Had their pitching not shite the bed, which looks like the heat/humidity/sweating just took over them, this would have been a much tighter series.
Grant it out hitters made them pay finally. We were missing that during stretches of the season, but this weekend they gave us chances and we cashed in.

When we played the WVU football series there fans were a lot of fun and seem to like to tailgate and just enjoy the day.

Good scrappy hitters and good kids. Terrible pitching and awful defense. They need to be fielding pop flies during the fall.

I was in Morgantown in 2011 and saw physical altercations w/ LSU fans after the game.

Going into the series I saw people saying how “chippy” WV is, but I saw none of that. Likely a result of the scoreboard, but I had no issues with their team.

I’ve been to stadiums all over the country and W Va has by far the trashiest fans I’ve ever seen. It’s not even close.

Nah they are chippy. But they were playing so far behind for most the series they mostly didn't interact with fans and players except the two relief pitchers and bench last night.

I agree. Tennessee and Wake Forest stand out in the douche category. West Virginia certainly wasn't that. Likeable team.
