I'm not surprised, but society is partly to blame for all this happening over and over. When these kids quit being treated like idols and treated like every other kid then we might start seeing a change. These kids have been pampered for years, so of course they think they're above the law!

Doubt that will happen

bullshite! The cameras have led to a number of firings and charges against officers. However, in the right wing world people like you live in, police can do no wrong against African Americans and white racism doesn't even exist. In that world it's support the Blue whatever they do! That is until the Blue defends against white racist extremists trying to overthrow the government. Then they are unpatriotic scum that should be attacked.

O should kick him off.

Society isn't to blame at all. Thousands of athletes are applauded and praised from the time they're young, but most have the common sense and character to avoid something like this.
It gets old to hear people blaming "society" when some athlete does something wrong. Koy Moore is solely responsible, and no one else.

Taking that fricking POS scholarship away

I get the conversation from both sides and personally I am not turning this political because quite frankly, it’s unnecessary and dumb as all hell.
Simply put, BRPD has had horrible PR the last few years. This situation did not help, so if Koy lied, then he needs to be held accountable and the video needs to be exposed. If the video is not released, then it leaves it all to public perception.
If Koy lied, he needs to go. Point Blank Period. This takes away from actual incidents that take place and really damages a community.

Koy needs to make a public apology for trying to get those officers in trouble.
Admit his wrongs. Move on.

Something doesn’t make sense though because the public defender said the body can showed exactly what was said by Moore.
Advocate Article from November
Just release the video.

Those officers were put on leave with no evidence but a kid posting on social media, that's how shitty all this woke stuff has become. If you are black you can get away with anyting and potentially end the career of completly innocent police officers and destroy their families. frick the Woke movement and BeeLM.

It’s always absolutely hilarious how when this was first reported, it quite literally covered my entire Twitter news feed. everyone from sportscenter to sports illustrated and every major news/LSU news account blasting about Koy’s police abuse.
Today, after the truth (that we all here for the most part already knew) comes out, Nada. Nothing. Besides a couple WBRZ/WAFB tweets with like 5 likes and 2 comments. Crickets.
I’m over it man, screw that kid I honestly hope he has to transfer. I know I won’t be rooting for a single catch.

Which is why using the cameras are good for both scenarios. If I was accused of violating someone, I would be estatic if there was video evidence that exonerated me.

I doubt they mind a whole lot.
Other than having to deal with all the shite to prove they were innocent and clear their names. I wish they would sue Koy Moore for the distress that their families were put through. They have families that were also affected by his lies so screw you

Shortly after this happened I was told by someone who heard from someone in the department (yadda yadda yadda) that the video shows what Moore was doing. Thats probably what his side doesn't want to come out now. Its one thing for the public to think he lied, its another to show his actions that night. I'm not meaning he committed a crime, but just him being uncooperative, hiding, disrespectful, etc. (Thats all speculation).
It just adds up to me that there's more to him lying. Maybe the cops did get rough with him and do what he said but it was because he gave them reason to. Either way, I want a statement, discipline, something from LSU.

I believe initially he just made a social media post and never filed a formal complaint. I’m not sure if that formal complaint was ever filed.
why is this still a story? this is old news
Moore was screwed the moment he said they unzipped his pants and the video showed him wearing sweatpants
the kid should have been suspended, he wasnt and the whole thing would have just gone away if he would have just STFU and let TEAMSWEEP take the field
Moore is lucky CEO was still licking his wounds from the FoxNews interview fiasco and not in a position to handle this situation the way it should have been
Moore has only himself to blame, if he would have just laid low he would have been fine. He is assuredly going to get processed and they will let FR coming in and passing him up be the way to "discipline him."
This episode definitely goes to show how incompetent the BRPD Chief of Police is and why the rank and file in the Union hate his guts

Now that the matter is closed, wouldn’t the video be available to the public via a FOIA request?
