There's no reason it should've taken this long to come to a conclusion. While it was still in the news, they should've come out strongly that it was false and released the video.
It should've been debunked while it was fresh on people's minds. The time lapse de-emphasizes the seriousness of the situation.
Why would it take 6 months for this to complete?

Did he make these claims on official documents? If so, absolutely, and he should have some charges levied against him. This bullshite needs to stop, and that's the only way. There needs to be severe consequences for faking stuff like this.

I believe initially he just made a social media post and never filed a formal complaint. I’m not sure if that formal complaint was ever filed.

However, in the right wing world people like you live in, police can do no wrong against African Americans and white racism doesn't even exist. In that world it's support the Blue whatever they do! Huh? Most don't even release the cams if the officer is in the wrong. Come up with a story about it was not on or try to release it years after the fact. So really your narrative is ruining the topic. In Koy's case, I do believe if his statements don't coincide with the the body cams, then he should receive some type of punishment.

How long were the cops suspended for? Seems like that would be the right amount of time for Koy to learn a valuable lesson. If they were off 4 weeks...sit him 4 weeks to think about what he did.

So the BRPD kept quiet about something that made them look bad, rather than defend themselves in the court of public opinion?
Don't buy it.
I think they are just a typical inefficient government organization who just didn't give a shite and moved at the speed of molasses because that's all they know. They would rather look bad than actually have to do timely work.

It’s telling to me, that the “attorney” representing Moore isn’t publicly requesting the body cam. That tells me everything I need to know
