thought so.....

i can name a fricking ridiculous amount of things to do in the city as well as in the metro area. my family just spent a full week here visiting and there's a ton of stuff they didn't get to do. but you've obviously already made up your mind so it doesn't really matter. i'm just curious what you're talking about because you've mentioned it twice, and there really isn't much here outside of the city and it's burbs unless you drive to vancouver

All but one of my friends said they were going and all bailed.
My plane trip is booked and I'm holding game tickets. In the words of Zohan. "So Let's Go!".

I'm pretty positive those people had everything booked and planned. What these postings are on the exchange are a few people who ended up with extra tickets...

i really don't think many people are canceling...there will be a solid 10 to 12,000 fans there...if even 500 to 1,000 people bailed, BFD

Hey Lester...Ex Larose peeps here We leaving in motorhome on Aug 26, going to be a 3-4 week trip that was a year in planning. We are going tour the Boeing plant, Deception pass, spend a day in Vancouver(have passports), have tickets on will call at the showbox(go Horace), after game coming home down Pacfic coast down 101 until the Redwoods then going to cut across to Vegas, Hoover dam, and Grand Canyon. For wifey and me this will be our trip of a lifetime, even thou we have been to Omaha twice and Va Tech(worst treatment ever received, we will never forget!). Auburn folks were alot nicer. Anyway we aint bailing

there's the market, the experience music project (which is an awesome place if you like grunge or hendrix), the public library (which is pretty awesome believe it or not), the space needle, columbia center, riding the ducks, pioneer square, tons of bars, restaurants, etc. if you're into outdoor stuff there are places to rent kayaks actually in the city. there is also a ton of hiking within a short driving distance, and if you're not interested in driving there are ferries that you can take from downtown seattle to some pretty cool little islands and either rent a bike or walk around all day. there's also a little mini wine country out here with about 6 or 7 wineries and red hook brewery all within walking distance of each other. it's a great place to kill an entire day, beautiful area. jersey tiger covered basically everything imaginable in his thread at the top of the page.

Just got back from vacation in Seattle and Vancouver. Both were awesome cities. The backdrop of the stadium is something you will never see down south.

Rag, your sensationalism in posting about this subject is great...

actually, golfer, sensationalism is actually, physically creating news ... william randolph hearst, the publisher of the san francisco chronicle at the turn of the century, would literally set buildings on fire so his reporters had something to write .. i didn't set this fire .. just want to see you use the term correctly ..

in other news, zealot reports that the apollo 11 moon landing was not real and just actually staged on a hollywood studio set ... film at 11 ..
