The only time I went to Seattle a few years ago was lucky enough to catch perfect weather.

What's the next closest semi-major airport? Went to Vegas once by way of John Wayne airport out of Orange County California. Plan to rent a car anyway and just enjoyed the drive.

This is a chance to see your beloved tigers play an OOC team from a BCS conference in what is widely regarded as an amazing city ( excluding Baton Rouge, of course).

I understand if the price is too high. But dont make excuses for the fact that you dont want to cough up the dough.

Personally, I'm emptying a savings acct because the chance to see LSU play a PAC 10 team in this part of the country will not come again.

If the cost is too high, I certainly understand. Just dont bitch about LSU's OOC schedule again.

you are going to say i dont have the money to go, but you are emptying your savings account(lol) to see LSU play a team that didnt win a game last year?

alrighty...makes sense. Sounds like you do well for yourself with your $1500 savings account

Seattle is a great city. Probably the most beautiful natural setting of any major city in the US. Lots of stuff to do, too many things to see in a short time.

Whoever would think Seattle isn't such a great place has a very narrow world view.

Being that it is labor day weekend, everything is going to be more expensive the closer you get.

Lester, O's sister lives in Seattle. If you are making the trip she can give you info.

Not gonna make it either. After a week in Yosemite for her wedding and then 2 weeks in Omaha, my travel budget is busted.

Portland has some "reasonable" rates (just under $400 from New Orleans on Southwest).
