IMO, a better group of WR's (Doucet, LaFell, and Byrd - a lot of talent right there), better QB's (Flynn and RP), and comparable OL.

I would without any hesitation.

Yes except for the confusion and illegal procedure penalties that come with it.

I'd rather the '06 offense than the '07. Better QB and WRs.

07' was the highest scoring LSU team in history. not sure where this team is, but it's gotta be close.

It seems like 11' wears down teams with the running game more. This year's OL might be better.

Someone said something about this team being up there for scoring. They may be, but how many defensive, and special teams points have we had this year?

Sure. And if we had a Griffin or Luck as a QB we would have won every game by 50 points.

No, I don't remember us ever having a running game that physically wears down the opponent like we do this year. All of our opponents aside from bama, have been pounded to death and basically quit in the 4th quarter. We've never had an offense that instilled their will like this year's.

I think UF felt pretty pounded at the end of the 4th qtr.

And I think '07 would have put up 2-3 TDs on Bama - no 6-6 game at the end of regulation.

Eh, who's to say for sure? That great '06 offense found 3 points against Auburn that year, and I'd put this year's Bama D well ahead of them.

It's strictly my opinion, but I think you're wrong about that. This Bama Defense is pretty solid. I think that second to our D this year, they are one of the best I've seen in awhile against the run. We will put more points on them Jan 9th but it won't be because their D is weak or getting pushed around. Have to give credit to their Defense, we scored 40 points on everyone this year but Bama and Miss st. That's saying something.

No way. The offense was constantly shooting itself in the foot. I rewatched the Auburn game from that year and the offense was a mess.

I really loved that 07 offense, so I'd have to say overall, yes. But fwiw, I think the 12 offense will be the best out of them all.

I like this team just as it is.

So far, they are perfect and it's been a while since that has been said at this point in the season.

Very comparable. But I'd like to to see TOs as well. 2011 doesn't turn the ball over, which is a good reason the Defense can get after it all game long.

Hell no! Our oline and running backs are better this year. Our passing game still leads the sec in efficiency. We have been beating teams to death (highest scoring in the sec), and have only had to pass to keep the D honest. If you can run the ball like we do with our defense, you CONTROL the game START to FINISH.

This is what football is about, teams that can't do this, sling the rock

So again, frick NO

I can't think of one person I would trade off this offense for that one. Maybe Flynn

don't quote me, but i think...

'07 - had 3 fumbles lost + 13 int's; had 36 take-a-ways = +20

'11 (w/1 game left) - 8 give-a-ways vs. 30 take-a-ways = +22
