I thought about it and thought devil you know is better than devil you don’t
But, honestly, Urban seems like the type to be able to adjust. He’s not young but he’s not over the hill, and he CAN’T be worse than Kelly as far as natty hopes.
BK will, without question, never sniff a natty. Urban might have a chance. BK may never even make friggin playoffs, he’ll be year 3 out of his 10 year contract which may only last 8, and won’t get close to the playoffs. Our teams are soft and there’s always going to be some glaring problem or excuse that replaces the one we fixed from last year.

All of you completely ignoring his last coaching experience, which was a total fricking disaster, remind me of those willing to overlook the losing and terrible culture at FSU when Jimbo starting looking elsewhere in 2015 and 16. People just ignored it and assumed it was an aberration because they couldn’t see anything else but the trophy he won.
Except it wasn’t an aberration. He created the same culture at A&M and it came to a very similar result- implosion. Sure, Meyer is a much better coach than Jimbo, but the comparison still holds. You cannot ignore direct evidence. He’s not willing to put in the time necessary anymore, which is even more today than 6 years ago since you have to constantly re-recruit your entire roster.
We don’t have to worry about any of this, because Meyer is happy as a TV personality and he’s never going to leave that gig. Why would he?

His last experience was coaching in the NFL. In your eyes, Alabama should have passed on Nick Saban because his last coaching experience in professional football didn't work out well. Or are you saying Urban's 7 year stint at Ohio State was bad? It's hard to tell because your point is retarded. It looks like you're trying to compare Urban coaching the Jacksonville Jaguars (with a rookie Trevor Lawrence and a horrible team), to Jimbo coaching FSU where he had full control, when the situations aren't even close to similar.
I guess it does suck that Alabama didn't have the same dumbass mindset as you. If they did, Alabama wouldn't have won 6 national championships with Saban.
Urban would step in at LSU and build a national championship team within the next 3 seasons. Kelly might never do it.

Would not take Urban but would look at a young hungry up and comer. Would not guarantee him a large salary but instead compensate him on accomplishments throughout the season.
