That’s a lie. There were way many players on our roster that year

That doesn’t mean anything. Yall just regurgitate this without any context. But I see you are brainwashed in thinking that he inherited something worthwhile

Dude Underwood cannot learn anything from Nuss this guy is a generational talent . Underwood will attract talent like Tebow did at Florida . The guy is the second coming of Cam Newton & Vince Young

I don't think Nuss comes back but if he does then Underwood will probably play in a couple packages but will mostly sit. Nuss isn't as terrible as everyone wants to say and he should be better next year. If Nuss leaves then I think we probably bring in a 1 year rental to compete with Underwood next year. Swann was brought in and is being redshirted this year to be that guy but itll depend on what Kelly sees of him in practice this year. 2 of Hurley, Collins, and Swann will leave after the spring if Nuss comes back

If Nuss comes back with numerous new OL playing he better learn to use his legs and feet a shite ton better than what he has exhibited season to date.

It's never good to have a true freshman starting behind a brand new offensive line and new receivers.
Wont be all new receivers. If Nuss leaves, Anderson may leave, but Daniels has not had the year he wanted, and Zavion Thomas is definitely coming back. Add in a transfer WR, plus Trey'Dez, and LSU is ready. We also have first year guys that will put on a show.

Even with a new OL, i think he'll fair better. LSU will put a major emphasis on running the ball next year. This might look like the 2022 team offensively. Behind a brand new OL, LSU had 4 RBs with at least 45 carries, average 5 yards a carry and 5 TDs. Then Daniels averaged 4.8 (because of sacks), but led the team in rush yards and TDs.

Think LSU will have a better defense next year and a dominant run game. What he gives us in the passing game will be enough for a true freshman.

Please enlighten me to why you think our running game will be anything close to dominant next year. I agree that the defense should be better just because they have a year under their belt in Baker’s system. But what on earth would tell you that our offensive line will be better?

Why are we not fielding championship competing teams FOUR recruiting classes into the BK era. That’s the question you need to ask yourself
because this is not CFB25 the video game. 99% teams arent making championship runs in 4 years.

If you want it done right, you have to have patience. LSU doesn't give out money like candy to transfers. LSU wants stability and consistency. We are technically behidn because he chose a bad defensive staff, but it's not like we had the elite defensive talent in the first place. This will only be HIS 3rd recruiting class of kids going into the 2025 season.

People thought this would be a playoff team (lol) but next year should be better than this years team if Nuss returns. Especially if their is some continuity on the coaching staff
i thought this year would be a playoff team because i believed in a defensive turnaround. I believed in this OL being a brick wall and us being able to have an excellent run game on top of a good passing game. Now i did have Nuss at 13 ints in 13 games, but i had him with 35 TDs. I also thought the schedule set up perfectly. Did not expect in the slightest to lose to USC. I did expect to lose to TAMU and beat Ole Miss though.

The lack of run game has been the only thing i didn't account for. The top guys playing for LSU now on defense compared to vs USC are completely different. Durham didn't play that game either.

I'd rather the proven commodity, but given just how dog shite this QB draft is, I think Nuss is gone if he plays well the rest of the year. I'd take Nuss over Beck at this point.

Pass blocking will take a step back, but the defense will probably offset it. Nuss is going to have to learn to deal with pressure.

Not sure that can be taught. You either have it or you don’t. Nuss does ok but he throws off his back foot way too often to be effective consistently. This style offense really needs a mobile qb.

The pass blocking has just been ok. There certainly will be less unwarranted hype

True freshmen starting in major CFB can kill a kids development.

People will hate me for it, but i really hope Nuss is one and done. I want to take the good with the bad with Underwood and the whole team in 2025 to prepare for 2026.

LSU had a hesistant Daniels playing behind a brand new OL in 2022, but the running game was top shelf. We had 4 RBs average at least 5 yards a carry and at least 5 TDs. Daniels averaged 4.8 with 40+ sacks (so in NFL terms, he probably averaged well over 7 yards a carry) and 11 TDs. Underwood is averaging 17 yards a carry right now as a senior, so he has speed and weight (6'4 215). I'll take 200 pass yards a game with 17 TDs to 10 ints if we can get 220 rush yards a game on the ground. With the RBs coming in, Durham, and Jackson, the run game will be lethal.

I expect the defense to be better as well. The corners will be more talented, the safeties will be more talented, and LBs Atkins and Keys are getting play at LB because of West Weeks being out and Penn going in and out of the lineup. West Weeks returning as a senior and Whit Weeks coming back as the best defensive player on the team. Despite how good our DEs are playing now, Womack and Reliford are actually more athletically talented. Suggs and Shone Washington are back as long as big hoss Guillory coming back for a 6th year at LSU for DT. Dont forget Breaux and McKinley who have been great in a rotational role and Breaux has played a ton. I personally expect the defense to be even better.
