2011 changed it all for me!
After the 9-6 game I ran outside and gave a venting primeval scream for all the neighbors to hear!
1/9/12 kicked me in the the nuts…never fully to return to the fervor I once felt! (Perhaps for the better, health wise!)

2023 because BK would have a title.

Had miles got one for 2011 season, 2019 never happens.

I’m still an advocate of claiming the 2011 title as the mulligan was illegitimate.

2011. Beating Saban for the Championship in New Orleans would have been amazing. Plus with that win you go down as one of the best College teams of all time.

If LSU wins 2011, 2019 never happens.

2019 is so perfect for so many reasons, but one of them is Bama knows that an LSU team lead by Ed Orgeron came into Bryant Denny, beat one of Saban's best teams, and then went on to become the greatest team in CFB history. No matter all their championships that is one thing they'll never have. Had 2019 never happened somebody one day would have tried to put one of Saban's Bama teams against 2001 Miami. No chance of that now. They can have the most but never the best.

Well that’s just pretty stupid to consider LSU national champs in 2011 when we got smoked in the championship game. I was there, that was an arse kicking.

There's only one answer and it's - 1/9/12.

2023. More recent and gives our current coach a Natty. Daniels, Nabors, and Thomas deserved a natty. Thanks MH

2011 marked a sea change for both programs. LSU wins that one, and the 2010s might have been very different.

Can you imagine?.?.? Les Miles……GOAT…..?

Maybe i'm missing something here, but can you explain this logic? Miles still achieved close to the most prolific LSU team ever in 2011. I really don't think beating Bama was gonna prolong his stay. LSU was still Pre-season ranked #2 in 2012. Les Miles would've $hit the bed in the exact same manner from 2012-2016 regardless.

2023

Miles was going to decline no matter what so it would have delayed the inevitable and the domino effect means 2019 doesn't happen.

The Natty in 2011. No football loss hurts as much. It is literally the opposite of the Saints Super Bowl win. That was one of the best all around football teams in the history of college football but the stupidity of allowing Bama into the game ruined that. I disliked Alabama about as much as Ole Miss before that game. I hated them for a decade afterwards.

Don’t forget 2006. We beat Auburn or Florida (we should have beat them both), we play for the SEC title and potentially national championship.

People still have that debate comparing who would win between the 2011 defense and 2019 offense.

Regardless of that loss the 2011 defense is still an all time great defense. Alabamas only TD of that game came in the 4th qtr.

They started pretty slow vs UGA in ATL
