I don't see how a baby could even make it to the end of the first quarter without wanting to go to bed. My 15 month old can't make it past 8 PM without needing to go to bed. I'd never subject her to anything with a 7 PM start time. She's already in her PJ's.

But we're totally bringing her to tailgate.

Good sensible tips!

At that age they are really curious and really just starting to get used to the environment around them. We took our twins to Disneyworld at 6 months and they appeared to really enjoy it. Note, purpose of the trip was to visit family and go to the LSU-Florida game so we didn't really go out of our way to go to Disney.

no. For so many reasons, the least of which is that you won't enjoy the game and won't be able to stay.

Ok, that is the outlier case. Take my word for it.

My son would not wear those. He would take them off after a minute of them being on his head.

Exactly. Every kid is not the same. But it's not just me that says it would be a bad idea. Most of us chiming in are saying "no" with the experience of having a baby/kid and having been down that road before (testing the limits) on what works and doesn't work.

OP can do whatever he wants, and I'll get over it if he's sitting next to me. He's ultimately the one that will more than likely not be able to enjoy the game as he would if he was watching on TV.

The 7 month old will probably think he knows it all. So no.

I took my 4 month old to the OU/ULM game last weekend.

That being said, OU's stadium and atmosphere aren't anywhere near what Baton Rouge will provide, so if it can be avoided...I'd not bring her.

Why not?

Evening game so not too hot.. It is against uab, so I doubt it will be that loud..

It will be hot, crowded, it will be noisy. You will make the baby uncomfortable because of your selfishness.

Infants shouldn't be allowed in the stadium in the first place.

I would consider your child's safety at risk.

On the plus side you could always sneak in extra alcohol in te baby bottles, just make sure you clearly mark which one is real and which is alcohol

Gotcha.. So you would just skip the game then? Even if the tickets were given to you for your birthday??

UAB tickets for your bday? For real though I would find a sitter or watch at home.

I'm sure you could leave the 7 month old with someone at a random tailgate and the baby will be just fine.

Just to let y'all know I have 5 kids.. So not having one babysitter out of 5 isn't that bad.. Lol..

Will show this thread to the wife and probably just bring one of the other 4... 2 girls (8 & 7) and 2 boys (5 & 3)... So now the question is which one so I bring with me to share my birthday??

I appreciate any tickets for my birthday.. I'm not picky. I mean the guy pays for season tickets and gives me two of them.. I'm grateful to just go..

Ask a buddy to go with you and get the wife to watch the kids.
