Hell no... Lester beat Stoops when he had less talent at OSU.

No way on that trade.

I don't think so, but it really is hard to compare the two coaches as Mike had very little to start off with when he got to Arizona. Ask me the same question after a couple of more seasons.

I love how people think he's just going to dominate in the Big 10 due to his "system", like it's this magical potion that will win him games.

I agree with this to a certain degree. His offense has yet to prove itself week in week out in a big time conference. However, if he gets a Pat White / Shaun King type of player, he will at worse be in contention for the Big 10 every year.

We have our guy- he is a good coach and when we had a problem he handled it and took care of it--plus he has a great bowl record- plus he kicked stoops arse a couple of times with far less talent-- would also take him over the great Saban as well--hell with him- go utes.

It's the fact that his style is an attractive style of play for the top athletes in the country, and if you have the top skill position players in the Big12, especially at a school with shitloads of tradition, it's very possible to see them dominating one day.

It's a long, long process though, that will require a lot of southern recruiting.

Our program would have a better reputation, but not as good of a bowl record if we did. I'm torn though, not a big Stoops or Miles fan.

untrue..just the tards. by the way, how is the 'genius' tressel fareing on the osu boards? it's got to be tough to so consistantly fall flat on your face with all that uber-talent you putz's stockpile. better luck next year..and the year after that..and the year after that..and the year after that.

Nope, Miles did at OSU what Gundy has yet to do and that is beat Stoops. Big Game Bob does well at OU, but though Miles frustrates the crap out of me, he does okay. Now that he is fixing the situation with the Defense, I am happy.

Has Stoops gone 7-5 with top-ranked talent? Would he have let Malveto coach his defense? I'm not a huge Stoops fan...I'm just playing devil's advocate.
