Would the B1G accept LSU?

Now that Nebraska is no longer an AAU school, I think the Big 10 would take LSU. Otherwise they’re a bunch of hypocrites. That, and this would be their one shot at making the SEC crumble since LSU is the foundation of the SEC.

We don’t really fit but if they already have a member institution that isnt aau i guess that could be overlooked.
I would think big12 or Acc would be the more likely destination.
I dont see how the sec isnt going to end up being sued by espn over the media rights deal because losing one of your biggest brands damages that deal.
Acc and big12 would be at the table getting a new much better media deal.

Not sure where we’d go but we’d have our pick of Big 10, ACC and Big 12.
LSU was no. 6 in the country last year in average viewership, about a million more per game than Michigan, the Big 10s second highest team. And we kinda sucked last year.

SEC isn’t kicking LSU out. That’d be monumentally dumb, but also it’s the SEC, so I guess all bets are off after yesterday’s display of stupidity and vindictiveness from the conference.
Honestly for me: I don’t care anymore. LSU should chart the path that is best for LSU. If that’s to remain in the SEC, so be it. If that’s to leave on whatever terms and timeline it wants to, that’s fine by me, too.
I’m just not under the illusion anymore that the SEC is 1) competent or 2) committed to treating its members fairly and consistently

Won't happen but if LSU did kicked out, the Big 10 would not take LSU because they look down their noses at us academically. LSU would go to either the ACC or Big 12.

Selective outrage and targeting is obvious in our case as the SEC lawyers argument that if a player has moved on, then he's moved on and can't come back, all while not bringing up the Cole Hutson situation with Texas.

Only Nebraska, their lowest-ranked academic college, is @ 158 in the USN rankings. By Comparison, LSI is #169
It's noteworthy that Nebraska was an AAU member when the decision was made to allow them to join the Big Ten, but were voted out about a month before its official entry.
Their next lowest is Oregon @ 110, Iowa @ 102.
So Iowa, as the 16th-highest-ranked academic school in the B1G, would be tied for 6th in the SEC.
As silly as that criterion may seem in modern college athletics, the B1G still sets stock in it.

We stay and fight the SEC. Don't run away and I certainly don't want to be playing the mid-west teams. SEC is our conference and we have great rivals and tradition. Don't throw that away because of this.

If we were to go to the B1G, it would be a bold move also bringing in UNC, UVA, Duke, Clemson, and Florida State as well, forming the first true super conference

I’m not I’ve said before I think the big 12 or Acc would be more likely landing spot.
The big10 could do it if they wanted to also raid the acc and form a massive conference. The sec once again under Sankey leadership would be dominated

Aggies have a good deal in the SEC they won't leave the SEC. Now, if Texas does something stupid again like they did when they were in the Big 12 then they might not be far behind but right now it is pretty apparent its 15 vs 1 here.

SEC would be down bad after kicking out LSU AND Texas, Kentucky, and was it South Carolina who also have class of 22 practice squad rejects, which is what they'd do since they're going to take consistent remedy for all member schools for sure.
