If you truly consider the guy to be an asset to your program and good at what he does, then take him back. It happens in business all the time.

However, under no circumstances should he receive any kind of raise or promotion in title or anything. He had an opportunity to increase his position through leverage before leaving. Now, LSU would be doing him the favor and has the leverage and should say you are welcome back at same salary. Then he can prove how much he really wants to be back at LSU.

It is amazing how people who never played say a Citrus Bowl is mediocre

This is ridiculous. The guy left for a promotion to USC and hated it so he came back. Then he was going to leave for his dream job and it isn’t working out. Absolutely no reason to not take him back if he wants to come back. He’s great at what he does; let him continue doing it.

Just wonder why all the details were not ironed out before he accepted job. Is this another Tennessee bondoggle.

Its understandable he was returning to his alma mater and home state so if the staff are OK with him returning no prolem.

Good guy. But he has now left twice. This last time a week before early signing day.
He wanted to be home in Knoxville. Stay up there. Don't come crawling back to LSU.

You made your bed, now lay in it.

No SEC West/SEC Championships since AT has been at LSU. What's the big deal?

Get the Petitto guy from Amite in here and be done with it............

Do you or anyone have prove that he reached out to any of our recruits? Is it not possible that Traore was invited by other staff members when his teammates were invited? I have no evidence either way and would welcome convincing but until then I will welcome AT's return if that is CEO's wishes!

I dont the staff will want him back. Apparently they are not happy that he tried to flip JUCO OT Badara Traore.

Odds are they wont hire him.

for recruiting he's become a liability. If I know I'm up against him for a recruit I'm highlighting his lack of loyalty and asking how LSU can be such a great place if the person wanting you to go there keeps wanting out.
spin that shite. just like every coach.

quote:

"I wanted to go home, UT is a great place and I love it, always have, but LSU is simply too special to walk away from, we're too close to greatness again, I want to see that through."

there. thats all he has to say. it might not even be lying, we dont actually know all the details yet, but if it is.... frick it, dont care. lying works. thats why its so popular.
