I am betting that ESPN wants Tennessee to host Friday night, Ohio State to host Saturday at 230 and LSU to host the night cap

We've never done December games in TS. Personally, I can't wait, but am willing to if we're a top 4 seed.

That's his point.

This is incorrect. Top 4 seeds get a bye and go straight to New Years 6 stadiums. 5th through 8th seed get a first round home field advantage.

No his point is that he beleives a top 4 seed gets a home game in playoffs. That's not the case. It's the 5th through 8 seed that gets a home game in playoffs.

Since the subject has been broached…..
How do ticket sales get handled? Are season ticket holders allowed first access to the seats they currently hold? Is it a TAF Points deal? Something else?

Top 4 seeds get 1st round bye, next games at bowl sites.
LSU would need to be 5-8 seed to get home playoff game.

I am not convinced game would sell out on a short notice with no students in town although to make history it may

I want that. I wouldn’t be too upset missing out on the SEC championship if that was the consolation prize.
Considering 10-2 (7-1) gets us to the SEC championship game though and 9-3 probably puts you on the outside of playoffs looking in only scenario I see us finishing #5-#8 seed and hosting a playoff game is if we go 11-1 and lose the SECCG

Assuming the home playoff games are a success I predict they will move all playoff games to home sites except for the National Championship game. The major bowl games willl move to Opening Day weekend with big out of conference matchups set up by the Conferences can’t happen until 2026 at earliest

I want to see a playoff game in the snow in Tiger Stadium.

Does anyone know what the ticket allocation will be? I think the SEC has the highest visiting team allocation.
For people saying that the quick ticket sales turnaround would prevent a sellout, LSU will probably be opening ticket request in a couple of weeks. If they can sell out their allotment of SECCG tickets, playoffs will be easy. If I lived out of state, I would have my hotel reservations already.

Everybody in the world knows this. It is your reading comprehension that is lacking. Let me try to break this down for you, like you would be in 5th grade.

Means he can not wait for there to be a playoff game that takes place at LSU. He is excited about the possibility of that happening.

but am willing to if we're a top 4 seed
As much as he wants to see home playoff game, he is willing to wait for another year if we were a top 4 seed. Because, as we all know, a top 4 seed gets a bye.

If we have a night game? Yes.

Some of you people are amazing with how confidently you post wrong shite, and will then double down and dig your heels in instead of simply admitting you were wrong.
The man clearly said he can't wait to go to a December game in Tiger Stadium (meaning if LSU hosts a 5-12 game), BUT.......he will be glad to wait if it means LSU is in the top 4 (meaning LSU WOULD NOT host because they would play at a bowl site and he would have to wait for another year). Jesus, dude.

Exactly! But the Cult of Aggie thinks they do.
