Kansas had the same NOA, some say even worse, yet they Gove Bill Self a lifetime contract and are about to make the final 4. Meanwhile our 4 and 5 star recruits are getting poached by cheating Pearl and the current team is hitting the portal. Get ready for 2 star players and 2 win SEC seasons! Thanks Wooody!

if wade wouldve been smarter then i could see standing behind him but the payment from a personal checking account is just really stupid. I love wade and thought next year could be special but i really think woodwards hands were tied here.

Look, I loved Wade. I truly thought the NCAA didn’t have shite on him. And then the NOA came out. Yes, every coach/school was doing the same thing prior to NIL, but he just handed them his own infractions on a silver platter. There isn’t an AD in the country that would’ve kept him. He fricked up big.

Kansas is a basketball school. NCAA made them Teflon Don status. They had Self making offers for Zion in writing.
Woody bitched out a year too early. Wade had a national championship line up next year. He had 3 - 5 stars coming in to compliment the current talent + Adam Miller. Should have let that play out. It would have been our first shot at a Natty since 2005-06.
Instead we implode and start over as we let the NCAA bend us over to protect football. We chose the beta route. Not the rock chalk jayhawk way

So Wade played no part in his stupid actions. I’d say this was his fault. No way he could stay with the stupid things easily traced back to him and only him. How is that on Woodward???
I liked Wade but he wasn’t that good he’s just a lot better than what we have had. If you can’t coach you better be able to cheat. He could do neither. It would have always been wait till next year.

I haven’t seen anyone say Kansas is worse. They can deny bc all the money came from shoe runners and not the head coach. So far from what I have seen there has been no link to the coaches and the payments. Sure we could assume. But it didn’t come from his wife’s checking account.

Wade got caught with text threads on his personal cell phone and was moving money from personal bank accounts to players. Yea this is definitely on the athletic director.
Stop with the "everybody does it" stuff. Wade was begging to get nailed by being so sloppy. There isn't an AD in the country who wouldn't have fired the coach with the things that came to light. If anyone set LSU back, it's Wade.

For Fu(*$ Sakes! Some of you people are Straight Up F'ing Stupid! Self and damn near any other mentioned were NOT STUPID ENOUGH to have stuff tied directly to them! You SIMPLY CANNOT get caught on Tape, Pay Directly from Your Own Bank Account, and have a Trail of Text a Mile Long and expect to get out of this unscathed!!!!!!! It REALLY IS THAT Fing SIMPLE!!!

Kansas also didn’t have that cuck Forde and one eye constantly doing hit pieces on Self like Wade had. Was he naive? Yes. Was he just doing exactly what Self, K and other prominent coaches have been doing for years? Also yes.

You really think you…the fan base…have all of the relevant facts that lead to Woodward’s decision. There are telephone calls, meetings and conferences, some off-record, with NCAA officials that are never reported. You also don’t know anything about advice Woodward is getting from lawyers and consultants regarding how to respond. The fan base can criticize, but no doubt, you know only a fraction of what went into Woodward’s decision.

Kansas will be hit with ncaa penalties, and maybe this will hurt them! So they kept their coach, but WW is not self snd LSU is not KU basketball! Get over it—- Wade had to go!
