Jesus, I know the Internet has destroyed patience and perspective but this is ridiculous even for this board. Nothing takes away from 2019 and never will. Flags fly forever don’t be stupid.
As for the rest of this season it makes no difference for the future (let alone the past) if we lose the rest of the games 57-3 or rally and win 3 of 4 (pigs will not fly this year). Where the program goes from here will be up to the new hire.

I don’t know if he’s recruiting but keeping him on keeps him from negatively recruiting or telling players not to come here because of he is on staff and got caught he’d be fired with no buyout.
If Scott just gave him his money and told him to get lost, he could torpedo the recruiting class and Woodward could do jack shite about it.
Keeping him on through the season forced him to behave.

I thought for sure that O would be asked to step down today after yesterday’s debacle and it didn’t happen. Now we have to continue to watch this crap. What? So, we put LSU football above morality, ethics, and legal issues? I am so tired of hearing this shite. What a sad state of affairs to subvert the truth.
If Woody is worried about crap coming out, then why didn’t he have a morality clause in O’s contract-simple wording; such as, conduct detrimental to LSU is cause for termination. That could have saved LSU a few million.
