I get that, but you are the one who brought the outside money men into the equation
The LSU AD asked them for a commitment well beyond what they ask for baseball and they got it.
That means the AD AND the money men are on board.

Other schools will choose to spend more on basketball than LSU because they have different priorities. Again, the amount necessary to compete in basketball is unlikely to be worth the cost when determining value either based on revenue or athletic success.
That may be your opinion but it’s clearly not the opinion of the athletic department or the major donors.

I told y'all the off season was going to be wild.

You're 100% spot on and a lot of these cucks don't want to acknowledge this fact. It's not about who was available it's who wanted to come clean up the mess their God left behind in the Men's basketball program. Wade had his chance and even admitted he fricked up. Done! Move on.

Then we should have stuck with wade through a show cause.
Would have been better than giving the program the death penalty like Scott did.
Do you run anything of importance or protect a business? This will tell me all I need to know about your answer.

Doesn't matter how bad things get in any particular Sport at LSU, there's always this pathetic and pitiful little group of Cheerleading Nut MA's that defend mediocrity and dysfunction.

LSU is lucky they got anyone to take the job after the Wade cluster frick
This is so dumb.
Lsu could've gotten a Todd golden.
Madking- Finished 4th place in a HS conference. He’s just a new name fans have heard watching the tourney selection this year. High risk low reward.

Florida’s had Todd Golden the same amount of time we’ve had McChoke, Florida’s a national champ and LSU hoops is like Blue Star Airlines tanking stock in the Wall Street movie ????

If you were Todd, which job would you have chosen? It’s not even a tough decision.

Todd Golden was available same time Matt McMahon was, and Florida pounced on him. What a wasted opportunity.
Can't everyone in the SEC say the same thing? When is the last NC in basketball in the SEC from someone other than Florida? By your reasoning, every AD in the SEC screwed up. LMAO. You people are unreal. Got news for you, WW is in the also ran pool as well.

McMahon and Murray State beat Golden and San Francisco during that cycle IN THE NCAA TOURNAMENT. Nobody ever brings that up though
Whew, thanks. Glad I can look back on that to make me feel better about 3 years of pain and suffering in college basketball on our end while UF just won the national title

The funny thing is that Wade wasn't even sniffing the success of what this very thread is about...yet he has been anointed the savior.
