if you ever tune in to SEC women's sports you should be able to admit that the women are athletic, competitive and it can be entertaining sports to watch.

the problem - we are saturated with men's sports, which are on a higher level and because there is so much going on i can't even watch much of men's much less having time for women's.

i'll say this about basketball - the one and done rule, plus the 3 pointer have ruined college basketball for me. i dont blame the kids at all - i just think they need to let the kids go pro straight out of high school OR make them commit to 3 years on campus. having said that, i think i am more interested in women's basketball with mulkey as HC than i am in men's bball. Womens basketball would be more enjoyable if the use a smaller ball, shorter goals and shorter courts.

Eh, depends on what sport we’re talking about.

who's "they?"

The rule about being one year removed from high school is the NBA's rule.

The 3-year commitment to college could be done by the NCAA.

This. Women’s basketball suffers perception-wise because it’s essentially the men’s game with women playing. It should be more like softball is to baseball (smaller field and distances, larger ball, etc).

I love Watching sport but I usually Need a cheering interest.

Gotta pick a team.

So if LSU is good at any sport I’m more likely to watch.

Overall thisnis a good move.

You're dumb.

You think the larger ball and shorter fields are all to make the woman's version of the sport "easier"? lol

It really doesn’t make any sense they play on the same goal when they’re not the same height.

They already use a smaller ball than the men. How much smaller do you want it to be?

It's not like the goals are 15 feet high. They are 10 feet. 5th grade boys play on 10 foot goals without much of an issue. Do you want shorter goals just so they can dunk?

Are women physically incapable of running 94 feet? The court is not that long and they already have a shorter 3 point line than the men.

Why don't we just change the game to pop-a-shot? Much smaller balls. Virtually no court and goals that are about 6.5 feet tall.

If you like WBB, then watch it. You (the OP) don't have to justify why is is "better" than the men's game. I personally find it incredibly boring. Especially so compared to the men's game. But that just me and I don't bemoan anyone who feels the opposite.

Because it is, its not an opinion either, its a fact. Doing things to make it more entertaining would be better.

Otherwise, dont waste the money on televising it.

Are the soccer goals 10 feet off the field?

When women are playing the game at a high level, it is very entertaining. Seimone and Sylvia's teams were very fun to watch.

When women are not playing the game at a high level, it is painful to watch. See LSU's recent teams who couldn't shoot and layups were a struggle.

And watching 2 bad girl's high school teams is awful . For various reasons, I have seen a few girls' HS games in person through the years. When both teams are bad, yikes.

i know it's the nba's rule. so how can the ncaa stop them from going pro after one year if the nba says they can come on down? the nba and ncaa would have to cooperate and agree.
