The year with Skeenes, Crews, and a few lucky plays? Hell no. ANY College Coach would have won the world series with those guys and probably without the lucky plays.
Yeah, this is where you show that you really don’t know anything.
The Tennessee team we beat in 2023 was better than their team that won the title in 2024. The Wake Forest and Florida teams were loaded with more major leaguers than any team we faced in 2025.
We won the title against the best collection of talent Omaha has ever seen. Downplaying that because we had great players is just trying to be smarter than the room and showing you’re dumber than the wall.

They didn’t
2023 beat everyone put in front of them, and some of those teams were absolutely loaded.

Who was picked 1st and 2nd in the MLB draft that year?

Dollander, Burns, Kurtz, Christian Moore, Rhett Lowder, Wyatt Langford, Jac Caglianone, the Florida pitcher from USM. All guys that we beat that made it to the majors by 2025.

All of those guys (more MLB players than the LSU team) were available in the series where LSU didn't have Paul Skenes. Why didn't UF win a title?
What about the team with Nick Kurtz, Brock Wilken, Rhett Lowder, and Josh Hartle win a title? That team also had more MLB players than the LSU team they lost 2/3 to.
What about the team with Chase Dollander, Chase Burns, Seth Halvorson, Blake Burke, Christian Moore, Maui Ahuna, Drew Beam, and Dylan Dreilling? Why didn't they win a title? They had more MLB players than the LSU team.
The 2023 college world series is probably the most talented collection of teams and players in modern CWS history. LSU played the other best 3 teams. They beat them.
What about 2022 Tennessee that had 8 MLB players on it? They didn't even make Omaha. You're retarded.

It's 2024 ALL OVER AGAIN. This is awesome. I am here for it. I am so here to defend Jay.
Imagine bashing a coach for having elite players and winning multiple Natties.
What other fan base does this? I'm not even a "only our fan base" person. I usually never agree with this, but seriously, what other fan base base would be doing this? This is hilarious to me.
BTW last year his most elite player was one of his worst the season prior. Does he not get credit for developing him? Kade.
Miss St probably loses this series if you take out one of their elite players. Like Ace. He's elite.
LSU lost their Friday night guy to start this series and then already lost their Saturday guy. On the road against a top 10 type of talent team and blew both games late. In a down year. I think they'll be fine. I'm actually impressed they came out the way they did. I regret the defense just can't quite make the plays to win these games, but I appreciate they didn't quit.
I am excited about the future.

Miss State waited several seasons too long before firing Lemonis after their title.
Let’s hope LSU does not make the same mistake with JJ.

No. I addressed the pro players and you still asked about the draft. So I know you’re not conversing in good faith. So now I’m done trying to educate you. I will now just talk shite about you and your mom and her love of giant dildos.

You should be batting 4th or 5th in our lineup then.

what luck did we have? That one of those guys made a big play? That wasn't lucky. And did you have any idea who was on that Wake Forest team? They were loaded too

I see you ignored my post that disproved your stupid little narrative.

Rhett Lowder was selected 7th overall and Nick Kurtz 4th overall from that Wake Forest team. Kurtz was AL ROY last year. What's Dylan Crews doing now?

1. Pearson's catch
2. Morgan's gloved throw to home.
3. Tanks extra inning HR.
